Cefaly device for chronic migraine

Hello, has anyone used the Cefaly device to prevent migraines / treat migraine episodes? Last month I experienced 14, so really want to try and find a way to manage them. Thank you!

A bit of history: diagnosed with migraine (with aura) after having my daughter (previously had them when on the combined pill when I was much younger), take Rizatriptan to ease them (lower than normal dose due to side effects) and have previously been prescribed Amitriptyline to prevent them but couldn’t get on with it - Dr has today prescribed another antidepressant to try but not sure on the name. Also just started taking magnesium to see if that helps. I seem to have a fairly low tolerance to medication, think there’s just one antibiotic that doesn’t make me poorly (!), so keen to try any alternatives to medicines.

I've tried the Cefaly for about 3 months. Did nothing for me so I sold it. I was told a fairly long time later that I should have tried it for 4-6 months, at the time Cefaly had a deal that you could return it within 3 months if it didn't work so that was the time they were recommending. On the upside I didn't have any negative sideeffects either, so other than money it didn't hurt to try it?

I have the Cefaly device. I didn’t find it helpful to use just when I’m having a migraine and was going to return it, but migraine specialist doctor recommended that I use it every day for a number of months before deciding if it helps or not. I now use it before I go to sleep every night. I have to say I haven’t noticed a significant improvement of my migraines but I now find it quite relaxing which I didn’t at all when I started using it! The down side is the cost, but otherwise it’s worth a try

I bought cefaly device and made migraines worse. If you have alloydnia do not use it. I found it very painful and returned it .I am waiting to try Neurolief Relivion Device but still only available in USA.

How is anyone finding Vyepti infusion. Has it reduced migraine pain.I am waiting 18 months to get it and my insurance last August to fund it and now they have gone back on their word. I told my headache specialist I would be willing to pay for it but he said there is nobody trained how to give it in the hospital that I attend. I am getting worse everyday and I just do not know what to do. I am 70 years old and have migraine since I was 12 . I know have a lot of comorbidities caused by the migraines. Vyepti is the last thing I can try as my doctor has run out of options as I have had no response to anything, only bad side effects. Be very thankful if anyone could reply to me. One of the people working for Lundbeck thinks it help me a lot,
