Well today I go for the premed and tech day for spinal cord stimulator on research trial hopefully all things going well should have implant January fingers crossed.

My friend has had one for years and it has reduce her pain by 40% xx

I am waiting for one but I've got PTSD /anxiety / depression so I am not in the right frame of mind to have it done 😞

I have had one for 25 years and reduced my pain by about 50% Sometimes a bit less My first electrode was out in by a Neurosurgeon and was fixed About 10 years ago it stopped working and after a lot of checking they reckoned maybe metal fatigue

I had a new lead out in by an Anaesthesist That will be free although will imbed itself The old electrode is still in situ as it would involve surgery to remove it I have not had any problems and have had the generator replaced about 3-4 times Good luck just try to be positive and I do hope you are successful
