About Magnesium
Hi everyone. I've bought magnesium as I've heard great things about it. I'm not expecting a miracle cure or anything but I'm curious to try it. The only thing is I don't want to use it as a sleep aid just yet. I'd like to first try it out during the daytime, in the morning when my anxiety feels the worst

I am Decompensated through alcohol. I have not had a drink since I was diagnosed last summer, I don’t count the days I think that would put more pressure on myself, I don’t need that as well. I just abstain as I was told to. I will meet with my Consultant again in July for us to discuss what happens

Sleep Aid
One of the things I have found with RLS is that my head occasionally gets very hot and I end up turning my pillow over several times whilst trying to get to sleep. Recently I looked on the internet to see if there was an electrically cooled pillow, which there wasn't, but I found a Gel Pad that has

Rosacea
Hi! I just want to say thanks. I’ve been told I have rosacea and recently it’s been bad and I haven’t been able to clear up the redness or spots. HOWEVER, I tried the anti dandruff shampoo and it’s really clearing up! I lather up a little and dab it on and leave for a minute, as suggested and then

Topotecan & hair loss
Hello, I’ve just come off the Sierra SRA737 trial which sadly didn’t work for me and next week I start on Topotecan. I’ve read that hair loss is a likely side effect so I enquired about using a cold cap during treatment as it worked really well for me when I was on weekly Taxol. However, the nurses

Anyone have ET diagnosis with normal BMB
I've posted a few times and still in no man's land (hopefully it will get better on my second haem appointment on 22nd). So far: ET possible - no secondary causes for thrombocytosis (everything normal which is great) ;platelets hovering around 500; previous pulmonary embolism at age 18 - 20 years ago

Lupus Anticoagulant positive update 3
Well meeting with haematology and neurology was postponed on 21st, it's now on the 7th. As you can imagine wasn't happy. Slowly collating all the paperwork regarding my wife. Had an email back from Professor Graham Hughes, who correctly guessed my wife's INR results and suggested that she needs a higher

Losing hair and dry skin
Hi everyone. Has anyone come across any ways of slowing down hair loss and helping dry skin. I was wondering is it the case of just low on certain nutrition that causes these issues. Anyone out there with underactive thyroid that hasn't lost any hair.?

Making decisions and trying not be fearful
Last Saturday, I started Humira which for me personally makes me nervous. I have had two injections in my SI joint (left and right side) Over the last two weeks which I was hoping would be helpful. Have not notice any noticeable changes yet as it is still difficult to lay on either side while sleeping

Recipes
Hey guys, a lot of people have been asking me to share recipes that I use. I thought I’d create this thread and we can all share our favorites. For those that have been waiting, sorry it’s taken me so long, this week was crazy. Just a heads up, I know a lot of us on here probably eat different things
