Hi everyone. I've bought magnesium as I've heard great things about it. I'm not expecting a miracle cure or anything but I'm curious to try it. The only thing is I don't want to use it as a sleep aid just yet. I'd like to first try it out during the daytime, in the morning when my anxiety feels the worst. Is this recommended? Timewise is it ok to take it during lunch time? A bit nervous to try magnesium in case it makes me feel weird. I get horrible headaches with B12 supplement so I take the shot instead.
I take iron at breakfast and dinner. Then before bed I sometimes take melatonin. It sounds like I'll be taking too much. On top of this my Dr told me to take Vitamin D as it's low. How do I space out Iron, Magnesium and Vitamin D for maximum effect?

Hey is it natural calm? That was one of the first supplements I tried after I had some severe anxiety. It’s relaxing and won’t make you feel weird at all! Just follow the instructions. I love magnesium!
Hello! It's actually magnesium glycinate from a brand called Fusion. I'll take it as prescribed just a little nervous as to how my body will react to it. I tend to read up on the side effects which makes it worse! But I'll give it a go. Thank you!
My Dr has me taking 800 mg of Magnesium Glycinate. She said to start low at 200 mg., then 400, then 800 mg per day. It can give some people diarrhea, but it didn't bother me at all. I bought the 800 mg bottle & just cut them so I wouldn't have to buy 3 or 4 bottles. As far as spacing them out, take one at or before each meal.
I'll update you. So far a little disruptive to the stomach but it hasn't given me the runs or anything. I do feel a bit lighter, if that makes sense. But I'll give it time. 🙂
Hi again laglag. An update: the magnesium at 200mg made me feel strange and it gave me a sense of a dreamlike state, if that makes sense. Don't think I'll be taking it again! This is just my personal experience with it.
