Sleep Aid

One of the things I have found with RLS is that my head occasionally gets very hot and I end up turning my pillow over several times whilst trying to get to sleep.

Recently I looked on the internet to see if there was an electrically cooled pillow, which there wasn't, but I found a Gel Pad that has elastic straps to put round the pillow to hold it in place which are then covered by the pillow case. When it arrived I was amazed to find that it said that it helped with RLS and it does. It does eventually absorb the heat from your head but it is wide enough to move to a cold part.

Sounds like a must-have for hot summer nights! Thanks for informing us of this.

I have poor temperature control as part of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue (ME), and in the past had some horrendous night sweats as part of this. I'm more inclined to feel abnormally cold, these days - ME/fibro seems to change over the years. I will deffo invest in one of these for the summer, though.
