My question is I have taken
magnesium
citrate
off and on for excruciating leg night cramps but it doesn’t agree with my digestive system. What would you suggest as an alternative? Many thanks

Fibre supplement.
I take 2
magnesium
citrate
tablets every night but even these don't help as they did when I first took them about 2 years ago. I know all the " experts" tell us to eat nuts seeds lentils etc etc as well as loads of fruit but my body wouldn't tolerate these things ( I have tried).

Carbimazole and cramps update
Since my last post about my severe cramps, they seem to have subsided since introducing
magnesium
citrate
into my daily vitamin intake as suggested by several contributors. I am due to see my Endo team next week so had the blood test they had requested done today.

Does anybody get severe cramps; legs, pectoral and feet?
The only thing that helps is drinking
magnesium
citrate
power in water during a muscle cramp attack. I really wish I could find something to avoid them in the first place. Any ideas?

Latest test results after RAI treatment
The
magnesium
citrate
has sorted out the constipation, but I still get bloating after meals. I might add an enzyme to take at mealtimes to to help this. My weight has stayed constant so far.

Graves’ disease story and questions
I had stopped taking
magnesium
citrate
at night a few days ago after taking it for a few weeks so not sure if that contributed to the palpitations. Questions: Does this dose 20mg/day sound right for my current numbers?

Suggestion if you suffer from constipation or IBS-C
If you suffer from hard, dry stools, constipation, stools that are hard to pass you can try:
Magnesium
Citrate
This has worked for me and may help you. Besides drinking lots of water and working out, healthy diet But
Magnesium
Citrate
is known to put water back into your stools.

T3 and magnesium / electrolyte supplements: I messed up, but is it just the supplements to blame?
(
Magnesium
citrate
, plus : Electrolyte complex - Ingredients: Calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride,
Magnesium
Oxide, Potassium
Citrate
) Everyone always talks about being careful with T4, and takingT4 in the middle of the night always works well for me.

Best magnesium dosage
I have been taking Life Extension extended release
magnesium
(as ZumXR
magnesium
oxide,
magnesium
citrate
) 500 mg (2 capsules of 250 mg each). I understand from Daphne’s Facebook group that Mg Oxide is not recommended. I intend to switch to Mg-1-threonate.

Hypo after all?
K2 MK-7 and 444mg
magnesium
citrate
every evening, so the high Vit. D is not surprising) I don’t know what the high Gamma GT result might mean, but to me, a raised TSH with low FT4, folate and B12 suggest hypothyroidism. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Morphine constipation help
Also taking 300 mg of
magnesium
citrate
(and have at times, out of desperation, used glycerine suppositories, drank 2 mag citrate solution bottles, and a fleet's enema). Drink tons of water, traveling now but usually exercise a lot daily.
