Looking for help and guidance on starting T3 only
As per my previous posts, some of these I have to take lifelong due to having a gastric bypass which means I do not absorb sufficient amounts from food (ie the b vits,
zinc
, iron, calcium).

Selenium ACE, Selenium With Zinc, etc?
As selenium is often sold in combination with other nutrients, which would you recommend: selenium on its own; selenium with vitamins A, C and E; selenium with
zinc
; or selenium with ACE and
zinc
? Ideally I would regularly test for these nutrients but the cost is somewhat prohibitive! Cheers.

Sublinical Hypothyroidism?
I have just read the following:- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3746228/ Several reports suggest that
zinc
deficiency is a cause of subclinical hypothyroidism. We often read of complaints of hair loss with hypo.

Struggling to solve hypothyroid puzzle, please help
I have seen studies which indicate
zinc
has a role to play in t3 receptor and DNA interactions but nothing much has happened in last 2 weeks of supplementation with a good form. Thanks, Iain

Taking a week's dose of Vitamins in one go?
A while ago when I went to see a Naturopath I told her all the vits I was taken (B12, B-complex, D3, K2MK4, Mag, Selenium,
Zinc
, Ferrous Fumerate + Vit C) and the difficulties in timing. She suggested taking some of these vitamins all in one go i.e. a week's supply of D3. Could you do this?

Vitamin blood test
I have recently been taking over the counter Vitamin D, B complex , C and
Zinc
as recommended on this site. Should I stop these before I go for the blood test to enable a true measure? Thanks Netty

To raise or not to raise - case study
I know this is low cortisol in the morning MED & VIT: 2 NDT grains, 50mg clomiphene for low T daily 3-4 times a week: iron,
zinc
, selenium, magnesium, D3. QUESTIONS: 1) Do you think I still should raise to 3-5 grains in despite my numbers being on range?

Is increasing Levo dose a good idea?
I am taking supplements - magnesium, iron, vit B, vit C, vit D, calcium,
zinc
, fish oil. I am an adventure racer and career firefighter so I exercise/train at least 5 days a week (sometimes twice a day). I don't recover well from training any more and definitely can't train as hard as I used to.

This is what a small bottle of soda does to your body
All calcium, magnesium and
zinc
, which was actually intended for your bones is passed in your urine. Sodium, electrolytes and water also exit your system. AFTER MORE THAN 2 HOURS------ once the euphoria finally subsides, you will experience a sugar crash. You become irritable and lethargic.
