undiagnosed Lupus

hi can anyone tell me if they have trouble maintaining their zinc levels even with taking zinc supplements and if so is this one of the problems of Lupus ? Thanks

I can take no supplements, but look for foods that contain zinc and eat plenty of them. A lot of supplements don't work anyway especially on people with immune system problems it seems.

I can't find any information suggesting that low zinc levels are linked to lupus but that doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't. Have you discussed this with your doctor and have they made any recommendations about supplementation?

I have SLE and have just been told that my Zinc levels are low and I will need to take three zinc supplements every day

I eat most of the foods that are recommended to increase your levels however I've been told my body may not be absorbing as it should?
