Continuing hair loss 15 months after starting injections
My GP has carried out various tests Thyroid,
Zinc
, Selenium and they are all normal. My ferritin levels were on the lower side of normal (15) therefore I was started on Iron tablets which I have been taking religiously for 5 months now.

Another blood test tomorrow
Not really sure why they are testing - it's a week since my last B12 injection (I had one a week for 6 weeks) I'm guessing there will be a fair amount of B12 knocking about They will also be testing for Vit D & hopefully
Zinc
as that was low But it seems a bit pointless as they have already decided

Stubbornly high TSH
I supplement with flora vital, high dose vit C,
zinc
, magnesium, selenium and bit E. Does anyone have any idea why my TSH is so slow to change when my T3 and T4 are improving? Thanks! Kat

Zinc - Is that it??
the low results (even though I'm still waiting for a follow up appointment) I then got a call on Monday from the GP surgery saying that the consultant had asked my GP to put me on
zinc
sulfate 125mg a day.

Magnesium blood tests
I know NHS don't do RT3 so I plumped for those two & some mineral tests [Selenium+
Zinc
High! Oops] and also RBC Magnesium- said to be the best evaluation test for Low Mag . What comes back? Whole blood Mag- & still low in the lower quartile, but not the RBC requested!

Benefits of zinc
I have bought some supplements: vitamin C and
zinc
. I wasn't very clear on the benefits of
zinc
, so I looked it up. it's seems quite a good booster for the immune system. As we are in autumn, and people will start to cough shortly (!)
