Hi all, I've had my latest blood tests back and although I feel quite well (actually better than I've felt in decades), I still have high levels of inflammation and my TGO ab is also high. Any tips on how to reduce? I'm taking 1.5 grain Armour, 200mg selenium, 1000 mcg sea iodine, 25 mg DHEA and 50

Is it possible to regain full thyroid function after sub-clinical thyroiditis?
I was diagnosed with sub-clinical thyroiditis five years ago. Was prescribed thyroxine, but just couldn't take it - it made me feel much worse. Since then I've tried every conceivable combination of thyroid medication, including NDT - have consulted both Dr Skinner and Dr Peatfield, but nothing has

ACTH test done but I want these other tests done
I had my ACTH Stim Test done this morning - although I only saw the nurse this is what I've found out: - The Endo/doctor will tell me the result when it comes back. - The nurse who carried out the test explained that the doctors aren't sure why I'm poorly and want to check my adrenal function - but

When do you see improvement?
I've been on 50 levo for 2months now and been taking magnesium, folate, b12 and zinc since end November. My low mood has been slightly better apart from around my monthlys where my mood and energy is really bad. I'm still feeling tiered, cold, achey and no sex drive. Should I ask for another blood test

Can someone advise me about my ferritin and folate levels please
HI I first posted on here in September last year asking about my vitamin B12 levels which were over 300 at the time, I had another test in October and that came back as 257. The help I received from this site gave me the information to ask my GP for the injections and I will be having my third one on

Overwhelmed!!
So I've decided not to leave - not that I ever wanted to but I feel as though things do get too much for me. - especially when things that are explained to me get too technical for me to understand. :'( My recent blood tests are as follows: TSH - 4.6 (0.27-4.2) - up from last time which was 4.3 FT4

Vitamins
In the last month I've come off anti ds and contraception (opting for a copper coil) I've also been to a netrisonalist and she suggested to take magnesium, zinc, meta folate and b12. I'm on 50mg of levo. Do these supplements sound good for hypo and any suggestion for anything else? Anything for pms

Need more of an understanding of hormone/vitamin levels to help the thyroid?
There are many posts advising being tested for Ferritin, folate, B12, Calcium, Vit d3, Magnesium & zinc. I'm presuming ferritin is iron? I get confused between ferritin, folate and zinc? My main question is - I would appreciate some guidelines (I know they vary a bit around the country) as to what

Insulin & Weightloss
Insulin & Weightloss – the pivotal factor Insulin is one of several hormones that are produced by the pancreas. Although insulin is often thought of as simply controlling blood sugar levels, it actually has far reaching effects on many other hormones and metabolic processes throughout your body.

What's the best Magnesium supplement to take?
Over the last few months I've been reintroducing minerals and vitamins. Started with D3 which was new to me then Folic Acid as again tests showed low. At intervals then reintroduced B12, selenium and zinc. The change was incredible, more energy and less joint pain etc. Only one to go now-magnesium as

This year I've had quite a few colds, tonsilitis for three months and a virus that lasted two months. I get left with a headach, glands up in my neck and exhausted
