More mouth pictures of "mucositis"
I guess I'm trying to figure out if this is caused by Behcet's...because when I look up Mucositis it primarily is a result of cancer/radiation and in my 11 years with this disease it's a new symptom to me and something I've never heard of. But that kind of sums up Behcet's I guess! Lol. So have any

Mucositis? (not just ulcers, but erosion of mouth)
I recently had a colonoscopy for GI involvement but was surprised to see that most of the pictures were of the roof of my mouth, not my colon. In my 5 seconds with the dr after he told my I have mucositis as a part of Behcet's and showed me these areas around the roof of my mouth that looked like small

Mechanism causing taste dysfunction in cancer identified - with the promise of possibly restoring normal taste sensation in the future
One unfortunate side effect of chemotherapy can be a altered sense of taste. [i]"Investigators have identified a molecular pathway that aids the renewal of taste buds, and they believe this discovery may have implications for cancer patients who suffer from an altered sense of taste during treatment

White Teeth
3 weeks smoke free today. Thing I have noticed the most this week is how white my teeth are. Actually whiter than after polishing by the dentist has been for the last 35+ years. Can hardly wait for my dentist appointment in July, I am sure the Dental Hygienist will think she is working on the wrong

Teeth/Jaw Clenching
At the moment i clench my teeth i even told my dentist about it but for the moment I'm using my retainer, only the bottom set to sooth this. I also have a bonded retainer which is wire/metal glued to the back of my teeth. I can't seem to figure out if its the bonded retainer thats hurting me or my teeth

Tooth Decay, Prednisilone and inhalers
Hi, I am looking for some help or experience others may have had. I have been on steroid inhalers for 29 years and oral prednisilone tablets for 11 years (9 years continuously now). I have always had very good teeth with no need for fillings or any work done at the dentist except for fixing a tooth

Symptoms, symptoms, symptoms
Not been around for a bit, trying to get my NDT up to a reasonable amount slowly. I'm taking 2 grains Thyroid S once a day, before food, away from supplements, etc. I'm also taking 5000 iu B12 sublingual, 25mg Solgar Gentle Iron, selenium, 0.5g D3. The problem is, I've had some really bad migraines

Sensitive teeth, gum area receding is this PMR related?
Have any of you good folk with on-going PMR issues experienced sensitivity with your teeth? I had a root canal carried out 9 years ago on one of my front two teeth, and the other which still has its nerve gives me occasional pain since diagnosed with PMR which I am hoping is not a sign that further

Dentist treatment
I have just started my chemo and I am quite happy as so far no sickness and that was the one I wasn't looking forward to. My question is are we entitled as cancer patients to free dental treatment. It doesn't look like we are but suddenly realised to most sensible place to ask the question was on here
