Foul Taste in mouth
Hi Everybody I am sorry to bring this up because it's not pleasant, but I have to ask because I'm not sure if this is something to do with stopping smoking, or if it's related to my trip to the dentist today. Okay the trip to the dentist was an initial check up - the broken tooth is actually a broken

Mouth and throat care
Hi guys! Hope you're all doing ok! Am currently captured and that's probably what's triggered this as not moved out of bed for a few days and so not brushed my teeth properly but my mouth is very sore and dry. I do have a bit of thrush but it feels more dry and sore than usual. I would assume that when

Hi. Anyone offer advice? I take steroid inhalers- recently diagnosed with oral thrush - not responding to Nystan and feeling like I have flu
Its been 6 days and everyday I am not feeling better - totally wiped out, no energy throat is sore although some of the white markings seem to have cleared up. Apart from my asthma i've generally been in good health and am 36 YO male. Is this a normal reaction to oral thrush? The fatigue/ill feeling

Absolutely foul taste in mouth for months. Does anyone know for definite if it is related to lung disease?
For those of you who don't know I have been pretty ill for over a year with asthma and recently diagnosed copd. For months I could barely hold a conversation due to breathlessness. Loads of other symptoms are on my profile, if anyone wants to look, but, what I was wondering was that my appetite is

Can anyone comment on Solgar Gentle Iron? Ferrous bisglycinate vs ferrous fumarate...
My ferritin was 19 (11-336) so I'd like to make a start so I bought what I found in my local health food shop. Generally I like Solgar products because they don't have a lot of junk in them, but I don't know how much to take of this iron. It is ferrous bisglycinate and not ferrous fumarate. Any thoughts

A golfer and the Dentist.
A golfer and his wife walked into a dentist's surgery. The man said to the dentist, "Doc, I'm in an awful hurry. I have two mates sitting in my car waiting for us to go play golf. We have 10 a.m. tee time at the best golf course around here and its 9.30 already.....forget about the anaesthetic, I don't

Oral thrush in a 10 week old
So Ava is now 10 weeks old and has had oral thrush pretty much since she was born. She's had anti biotic drops and gel but it's STILL not cleared! Has anyone else's baby had thrush for this long!? Why does it not seem to be clearing? :(

Gums and mouth sores
been struggling along for a couple of weeks now. The gum around one of my lower wisdoms fluffed up and is very sore. It has started to track alone the other teeth. Also I now have sores on the roof of my mouth. I have had slight relief from ibruprofen. Is there anything that the GP can do or would I

I'm going to rip my tonsils out!!
I am going mad and this sore throat is doing my head in. It's so sore and driving me mad, I am finding myself with a mouth full of spit and can't swallow too well. It's so bad. Called the doctor who informed me it's a sore throat, no shit Sherlock! He told me to are him next week but it's so sore.

Had ultrasound today and now I'm even more sore than I was
I've been sore in my right side and actually sore all across my upper abdomen now. I am ok in the morning, though by the end of the day I'm really sore. The ultrasound didn't really hurt too bad, but it was uncomfortable. Is anyone here sore all the time like this, or does it come in flares? I know

Dry mouth
I have been reading questions posed in the past about the problem of a dry mouth and wondered if anyone had found a solution to this. My mouth is very dry and I also have an unpleasant taste which seems to transfer itself to my food. I also have a sore tongue and mouth ulcers. The lack of saliva also

Thanks to everyone who answered my question about methotrexate. The answers were very useful. I would now like to ask what people do about dental treatments. Cheers. Sue x

Levothyroxine and Ranitidine
I am on 50mg of Levothyroxine daily since October. My levels are steady BUT I have an awful taste in my mouth almost constantly. It is a sour/bitter taste and I wondered if it could be some kind of acid reflux?? I've researched something called Silent Reflux (LPR) and my symptoms are very similar - bitter

Dental woes
Currently having dental treatment to remove a large number of mercury filled amalgams. Yesterday I was out for lunch and, despite choosing something very soft to eat, part of a tooth together with its temporary filling came out. I feel quite distraught as there is now a gap in my mouth. Some years
