Has a doctor examined your throat? When glands come up it is often in response to an infection. Perhaps you are getting recurrent low grade infections?
When I was a teenager I had chronic tonsillitis which lasted months and months. It's not like acute tonsillitis so you don't get antibiotics for it, but if it goes on for too long they sometimes remove your tonsils. The only reason I mention it is that it doesn't feel like the regular tonsillitis because you don't tend to get a high fever with it and sometimes you don't think to go to the doctor because you don't feel so unwell that you can be bothered (well, that's what I'm like anyway ) My glands were up most of the time and I felt unwell with it but not so unwell I couldn't go to school most days.
I'm not saying you have chronic tonsillitis because obviously I don't know you, haven't examined you and I'm not even a doctor but I really do think you should get properly checked out.
The reflux should also be investigated because if you have it long term it can cause other issues
If you are feeling any sort of obstruction in your throat, you should definitely see a doctor as soon as possible especially if it makes it difficult to swallow or breathe.
I hope that made sense!
Feel better soon

Hi i don't have any tonsils or that would be spot on ill get an appointment I've also asked my endo for a thyroid scan not sure what is involved read somewhere they inject you with radioactive substance!!
That is a good idea. I don't know if your thyroid is swollen but there could be some inflammation. I suppose if there is inflammation that could cause your glands to swell.
I hope you feel better soon xxx
Bossbird, Radioactive isotopes are injected to check uptake of iodine in hyperthyroid nodules. Ultrasound scan of your thyroid isn't invasive, the handheld scanner just hovers over your throat and neck to scan.
