A question about pain in legs.
I've just read the post from jimandgil about pain in the groin and legs and didn't want to hijack his post so will start from scratch. I have been having severe pain in my legs very much like one would describe if one had the flu. I have had similar before and it's been a side effect of some medications

Are official complaints about GPs taken seriously?
I haven't made an official complaint because I didn't think it would be taken seriously. I recently moved here and the first GP I saw removed my tramadol and told me that walking will remove my pain. He asked if I worked and I said not currently so he told me that I must sit watching TV all day then.

Did physiotherapy or cortisone injections help you?
My scan results came back and I have a slipped disc that moves and presses on my spine and my sciatic nerve. I currently take tramadol but they want to take everyone off of tramadol so the GP mentioned cortisone injections but she said I have to have physio first or else the referral will be bounced

I'm taking gabapenten but talc is one of the ingredients. Taking 300 mg morning and night. Doctor wants me to take more

Update
Last time I posted there were overwhelming responses so please don't do that again ☺. It's been 2 months since I started using the tincture made from full-spectrum marijuana. I have had 2 episodes of RLS during that time where I had to resort to a brownie to get relief. Prior to March 15, I woke up

Just want to sleep 😭😭
As the title says I struggle so much at night sleeping. Mi can fall asleep by 10-11 most night night I will wake up every 39-60mins and be awake for hours and then then cycle again. I used to think it was the tramadol I took but but since stopped them a long time ago it’s still happening 😔 I take Clonazepam

Feeling low and alone.
Hi everyone, I'm new here so hoping this helps! So I've always had terrible periods and in the last two years or so it's really been getting worse. My periods are so irregular, as are my bowel movements, I've been passing blood in my stools, and have rectal and pelvic pain on top of my usual pain. I

I need to say goodbye to my friend, “Goodbye Keith and warn you all about opiate painkillers.”
Firstly I would really like to thank all the lovely people that responded to my bad day post. Everybody offered really helpful and supportive advice. Although I’m extremely glad that I now believe that my anger and aggression is only a very small symptom of my brain injury, the real underlying reason

What’s my diagnosis?
Hi, this is my first post, and would welcome any comments that might help me understand what is going on. Like many, I have doubts about my “diagnosis” and treatment. I was experiencing Cushing type symptoms (fatigue and muscle wasting in arms and legs and fat at back of neck, headaches and fatigue

Tips on getting body to rest?
Hello all! So, the past week pretty much hasn’t been the prettiest for me. Went through horrible Tramadol withdrawal over the entire bank holiday weekend (lived off toast and minimal water thanks to nausea etc) and ended up going to the doctors on Tuesday afternoon after spending the morning at work

Feeling desperate
My sister has hydrocephalus, only discovered in 2014 and she had several operations and had a shunt put in. She'd been having headaches for a while but not debilitating but since her operation the headaches are much worse and we think it's because there was some nerve damage done during the operation
