Chronic pain and pregnancy

My daughter, aged 19, has chronic pain. She's had it for nearly five years now and she is currently taking a lot of medication. She takes 50mg Tramadol and 1000mg paracetamol four times a day, she also takes 60mg Duloxotine twice a day, montelukast once a day and 8mg Circidin before bed. She uses Oramorph when in severe pain 5ml as needed. The issue is that she is pregnant and we went to our GP who was not happy. Basically she said that my daughter has to think long and hard about whether she can even think about looking after a baby and then how she'll cope coming off all her medication. I'm not sure if the doctor was trying to shock my daughter or if she really believes pregnancy would be unhealthy for her. My daughter wants the baby. Anyone got any sage advice or wisdom for me. Please 🤔

Hi I can relate, I have fibromyalgia I take codeine, nortriptyline and other meds i have two young children as well as older children and although it's hard i manage looking after my children with pain relief I did fall pregnant and had an abortion due to pain relief etc but I regret my abortion every day..if I was ever to fall pregnant again I would keep it as I have researched pain relief that is natural remedies and would help try ginger and black pepper from Holland and barrett for pain relief and it wont hurt baby. Good luck xx
