Has anyone found benefits from taking CBD capsules daily (H&B)? GP cant advise. So far managing pain in left knee down leg not good. Taking Amitraptiline, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, TENS machine, Tramadol - latter really helps, but taking latter sparingly. In system. Expect some surgical repair intervention eventually. Doesn’t constant pain wear you down?

CBD Capsules? Do they help?
Hi Emmeline3; when I asked my GP about CBD oil he said stay away from it at present as they don't yet know how it will react to other medicines, of which I take many. For people who are not on other meds I've heard that some gain benefit from it ( but only in high doses) whereas others gain nothing. Some of the oils and capsules sold by chemists and health stores are of very low doses and very diluted, as well as being overpriced. I did a lot of research on it last year and perhaps it'll be passed for us who take a lot of meds in the future.
Hi, I take a high dose of hemp seed oil for its omega 3 properties daily amongst other things and also have a CBD thermal rub I use on my joint, I have benefited from using them.
Hello
I have never tried Cbd so I can't say.
I have Osteoarthritis and I take turmeric and black pepper capsules daily which helps really well with the pain, (don't use if you are on blood thinners) it might be something for you to look into.
Take care.
I tried CBD vape, which from experience is the best way to absorb it, but likely the most impactful on health as vaping isn't really safe, yet.
I was using 600mg and you got about 1/2mg per puff, which is pretty good dosage but I was doing 5/6 puffs at a time and quit often, like once an hour during the day. Became a habit almost and yes it did prevent pain, but I suffer from muscle pain and I take magnesium and zinc tablets along with Amitraptiline (only 10mg).
Tbh the cost of CBD outways the pain relief, not really worth it, I was spending £40 every 2 weeks on it.
Yet to try the TENs for my pain so would be good to see how that works.
