Hello,

I have RA diagnosed 6 years ago. Right now i am taking enbrel and tramadol. I have weird pain left side under my rib cage. Sometimes pain us reflect back too. I know spleen and pancreas on this side.

Do someone had similar symptoms and what can be ?

I do have doctor appointment next week, just worry here because pain is already 1 week

Possibly Costochondritis. A lot of members have it, including me.

Hi Anita

Best ask your GP or Rheumatology team since it could be a number of things. If it worsens, use the Out of Hours service ie 111, if in the UK.

I hope you have a good weekend!

Hi

Iv been taking enbrel for 3 years now, I have never had that sort of pains. I know tramadol is very strong so I think it may be that drug. I wouldn't wait for your appointment I would call them and explain your issue, you shouldn't have to wait when your on these sorts of drugs, they may recommend a blood test

All the best

It can last more than a couple of days Anita. It’s a very painful thing to have. Why did you want a blood test may I ask?

Because I think can be something else, i feel also little bit dizziness. And my last blood test is 1 year ago. Maybe wait couple days?

I've had Costochondritis on and off for 5 years. I never goes away completely.

5 years? Did is getting little bit better? My pain us pretty bad

I was told by a nurse that it can feel just like a heart attack, but to be sure get yourself checked out by your GP. :-O

I've had this for a year, my spleen was enlarged due to RA but now its not and the pain is still there, it hurts when I burp, yawn, sneeze or stretch... I've had MRI and CT scans, xrays, no one can seem to find a cause. On another note, pain that radiates from front to back could be kidney pain, I often get kidney infections and that's my symptom of it.
