Fluctuating T4 pre-treatment
After a GP blood test that was deemed 'normal' despite nearly 10 years of feeling awful with all the classic hypo symptoms (fatigue,
weight
gain, hair
loss
, freezing all the time, heart rate of a slug etc.), I asked for the actual results and a previous test from 4 years ago (also 'normal').

More on red light therapy versus SYMBYX?
Apologies if i've missed a post: I noticed a post about a year ago on red light therapy, I have used it for a few years now and although I can't be sure of its efficacy, friends say they see no or little decline in my symptoms. I recently noticed an Aussie company (my home territory) promoting SYMBYX

No diagnosis yet but AMA+. Any advice?
My primary care physician (PCP) referred me to a liver doctor (hepatologist) after I experienced unintended
weight
loss
and had a history of having mildly elevated ALT and AST. The appointment was 4 months out. In the meantime I totally quit alcohol as it wasn't a big deal.

How long between huge weight loss till huge weight gain?
I had my last thyroid bloods were done on February 14th 2022 and were TSH 0.03(0.35-5.50) FT4 21.4(10.0-20.0). I have dropped 6kgs or 13.2lbs in weight, so nearly a stone but because the nurse was too lazy to actually weigh me this wasn't picked up for another month and I have gone from a size 14 to

Worried about maintenance after the weight loss…
If I force myself (after
weight
loss
) to 1600, will input
weight
on? I can only imagine managing it by bringing back chocolate, which I’m happy to leave out right now. I don’t want to muck this up. I want to do it the first time and stick to it forever.

Alcohol and weight loss.
Hi Everyone. I’m trying to lose a little bit of a tummy I have got since lockdown and I am also trying to cut down on my alcohol consumption. Any ideas to stop the craving. It’s more out of boredom that I drink really.

My consultant saw me 6 months ago and she never mentioned such a drastic
weight
loss
then (i am assuming because i had my mum with me and she works for the CCG). Has anyone else experienced this before?

Hypothyroidism and weight gain/loss. This article may be of interest to some.
https://sanescohealth.com/blog/thyroid-and-leptin-weight/I found another article mentioning Leptin therapy on a subclinical hypothyroid patient. The patient was able to stop her Levothyroxine once her Leptin levels were under control.

Unlicensed thyroid meds on NHS?
I'm honestly getting close to the point where I just give up and accept that I'm going to die from lack of treatment (untreated for over a year now, TSH high, cold all the time,
weight
gain, hair
loss
, and it's impacting on both lipids and blood sugars).

Thyroid Test Results - Thriva
These include hair
loss
, tiredness, lack of drive,
loss
of libido, struggle to maintain
weight
. I’ve had my results back and Thriva says they are within normal range and I could do with taking a magnesium supplement. I just wondered where to go from here.

now and want to have the ability to have a protein shake as a quick breakfast when I train.

Where to get T3 from a decent supplier.
However i am still experiencing tiredness,
weight
gain sore muscles and depression not to mention hair
loss
. Asked my GP if he would check my T3 levels and he refused saying it was unnecessary. Am from the UK and i believe this is a normal response.

New bod here...just starting out. (Sorry, first post is a bit long...)
A couple of fairly recent health issues have made
weight
loss
feel like much harder work than it should be which can mean I give in as i get so tired of the fight - but now I have something I'm focusing on that's given me some decent drive and determination!
