I’m currently on holiday so away from my GP Surgery. On 1st July I started having whooshes of the bottom. Despite eating bland food, I am easily having to dash to the toilet at least twice an hour. Tried taking Imodium seems to work for 4 hours then I am back to square one. 😭needless to say all my muscles in that region are very tender so even walking feels as bad as when I had my C-section 14years ago. We go home Saturday should I just ride it out until I see my GP or not?

Why not call in at a pharmacy and speak to a pharmacist, if they think you need to see a GP urgently they can probably point you in the right direction.
Kaolin and Morphine in a bottle. 1 teaspoon should help with pain and line the gut. I have had Crohns fir 50 years and use it sparingly on the rare occasions I need it. Maybe difficult to find if you are abroad .... 🤔
I would see your doctor when you return if you still have problems. If they cannot resolve it within a few weeks ask to be referred to a gastroenterologist.
Could be a bacterial infection or collitis, either way you will want a definitive diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Dioralite sachets are good if you have a persistent problem. They replace some of the salts etc.. that you lose due to going so frequently.
