Violent neck tic? Advice?
My name is Alice, I am nineteen years old, and was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. For the past month or two I have had this 'head banging' tic that has only gotten worse. I wear a neck brace to try to save my neck, but I don't know if it is really doing much. It hurts to move my neck at all. I called

Just checking in ..
Evening all! It's been a muggy and humid few days here in Wales. Finally finished work on Friday for six weeks which is a little bit lovely. Mum not doing too badly, for those of you would want to know. Not really much better, but no worse either really. We're off on holiday on Tuesday; a week in Kos

This is when I was told to ditch the scales by my doctor -
water
retention
, hormones, pcos (not diagnosed at the time) etc mean the scales are not my friend and not even weekly weighing would give me any consistency. Illness once again meant I had to give up excercise.

Going into highschool with Tourette's
Ok, so I'm a 14 year old girl (about to turn 15) and I'm going into highschool in September. I was homeschooled throughout middle school because I was bullied for having Tourette's,selective mutism and OCD. I've also been diagnosed with hdhd an, anxiety, and depression. I'm really worried about going

Not sure what or why but knees and elbows swelling up, anyone else suffered this and is there anything I can do to relieve this?
No signs of bites or skin rash, I originally thought my knees swelling was down to heat and
water
retention
from prednisone, but now don't know. Any thoughts great fully appreciated. Penny xx

No relief whatsoever from my symptoms - feeling I have "hit a dead end". What on earth can I do now?
What confuses me about this is that I still fit into all my old clothes (no bigger than size 12) - and that is despite the bloating and
water
retention
. If I believed the GP, I would have to be at least a size 16!

Has anyone heard of or used 'MycoPhyto' for Hashimoto's?
I've been reading about it online but there is very little information - its described as ''a blend of mushrooms that balances your immune system and calms overactive cells. This product can be used for any type of immune system disorder''. I'm wondering if it would help with the autoimmune condition

Is it worth it?
I am 28, and have been going through what I think is depression and bouts with OCD for the entirety of my 20's. I have no social life, no career (although I do have a job), and no partner. In fact, I've never had a girlfriend, or been able to talk to women of my age. In some ways, I've always felt mentally

. Does anyone think it could be related to the condition I have, spondlythesis ( sp?) and severe arthritis in the spine? I am seeing the GP on Tuesday.

Life is a Rollercoaster
I am so fed up & just worn right down with this mind of mine that never stops thinking, reminiscing, comparing, remembering .... feeling angry, sad, bitter, hurt, disappointed ... but then feeling guilty as I have no physical ailments so I am able to get out & about if I want to but then my mind has

Feeling more unwell following Lap surgery - like my digestion and hormones are "out of kilter" - anyone else had this issue?
I've also got
water
retention
, and an outbreak of spots on my chin. I feel very much like I'm "on my period" - sort of "hormonal" - but I'm NOT! Can having a Lap make you feel like this? Can it make your hormones "out of sync" or disrupt your digestion?

I have one coffee a day and no tea just
water
. Speaking of which: I have
water
retention
, even though I am pretty active. There are days now when I feel so bloody alone and fed up and really hate Mr. Hashimoto.
