Not sure what or why but knees and elbows swelling up, anyone else suffered this and is there anything I can do to relieve this?

Both knees have been swollen for a couple of days, The swelling is above the knee. Hasn't been painful until today, tender and pain on walking.

Now I have swelling appeared on both arms, on the inside of arm above the elbow. This is painful and causing tingling in my hands. No signs of bites or skin rash, I originally thought my knees swelling was down to heat and water retention from prednisone, but now don't know. Any thoughts great fully appreciated.
