Education
I feel that the current level of understanding regarding Autism in some schools is woefully poor. As a person on the spectrum, the mother of two children diagnosed with Aspergers and also a qualified Teacher, I feel that more needs to be done in order to enable children with an ASD. I feel the education

Things that are going on
I have Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, have
water
retention
, & I have accidents. I had kidney cancer three years ago, had half of my left kidney removed. I still go for check ups. I lean over my left side in my wheelchair because of my Cerebral Palsy.

Tongue Question
Hi everyone, my 2 month old was just diagnosed with BWS yesterday. The presence of hemihypertrophy on his right side (arm & leg) and visible stork bites on his forehead and back of his neck led to the genetic testing and diagnosis. My question is regarding his tongue, specifically, the lack of visible

MTX not working
I really want off the pred and rid of this moon face :( On the plus side one of my BP meds has been changed as one was making me have
water
retention
so the new tabs are for BP and
water
and I have lost 6lb in a week and my feet are no longer swollen. Gentle hugs and keep smiling Sue

Help! increasing the pred doesn't seem to be working.
At the same time I am getting some side effects of the pred- much increased hot flushes,
water
retention
, thinning hair , very bad taste in my mouth etc.etc. So I am reluctant to increase the pred still further .

Anyone taking Methylphenidate for brain fog or improved movement?
I asked my neurologist about taking something to help me better focus or concentrate, possibly an ADHD drug as I now feel that I may have always had this problem & now with the PD, my meds & extreme tiredness, my mind is in a constant fog. I have also been diagnosised with OCD & anxiety disorder. She

More long winded mytherings from East Anglia - my husband is really missing my ferocious PMT, he relies on it to get things done!
Also my
water
retention
which with the help of Dr BDP has dropped from up to 12 pounds down to five at this time, this month, apart from half a day with a bit, has not really appeared in it's normal unwelcome form.

Why do we get myxoedema?
Hyaluronic acid manages to cause the
retention
of large amounts of
water
. If correct, it is interesting that this is a very specific T3 function. [i]In Vitro Cell Dev Biol Anim. 2013 Feb 9.

Liver blood results
Hi I had a liver resection surgery 14 months ago. My liver enzymes remain very high or out of range still, does anyone know, will they always be like this. Am being monitored, consultant was concerned about bile duct inflammation due to raised alkaline phosphor apse. Says he's not concerned anymore,

Good morning all.does a reduction in steroids also mean a reduction in the large tummy?
Morning all on this beautiful morning, just had a very high dose of steroids reduced to a a very small dosage. Can i now expect the large tummy(side effect,
