Some questions about T3
I have experienced
water
retention
and headaches with T3 before, but I was low carbing at the time (stupid me!) So I think the headaches won't be a problem now, but is it normal to have
water
retention
and does it go away?

Rise and fall of AFP
Hi! My son is 22 months, and so far has only been diagnosed with hemihypertrophy. We have started the BWS tests through our geneticist, but the first 2 labs came back normal. At his initial appt, his AFP was elevated to 24. It then increased into the 30s, and we were referred to an oncologist. We have

Water retention or fat on legs and upper arms? And any ideas on getting rid of it?!?
I have lost a lot of weight since being on thyroxine (200mcg per day) for about 6 years. However, no matter what I eat or don't eat, no matter how much I exercise or what exercise I do, my tummy and ribs gets more and more toned and slight, but the fluidy weight on my arms and legs doesn't change -

HIFU for Stage 2?
I saw where HIFU is being promoted by Cleveland Clinic Canada. It is only just being made available (at very few facilities) in the US. I am in the queue to get IMRT external beam radiation as my TURP'd prostate not considered a candidate for surgery. I'd have to reach into my own pocket to go with HIFU

Important weight loss facts you must know
However, if you have
water
retention
chronically, then it's time to see the doctor. Removing dairy helps weight loss? One must not remove dairy from their diet if they don't have other sources of calcium. Many vegetables have calcium and it's not necessary to remove dairy.

Does this sound like endometriosis?
Back when my periods started age 14 they were always very heavy and painful, I particularly recall getting a lot of pain in my thighs which my Mum always referred to as
water
retention
. I would get so bloated I looked pregnant. I went on contraception early which did help matters.

Please help
Whilst at my GP I listed all of my symptoms that have gotten worse over the last 8 months including
water
retention
, severe bloating, night sweats, hot flushes and the ongoing discharge. She has recommended blood tests to check my hormones and thyroid as I haven't had them in over a year.

UroLift anybody?
Hey everybody, Many of us suffer with BPH. It's now time for me to deal with it. Not that I haven't had a stupendously large prostate, that has been problematic for a few years now. Of course it eventually blocked my urethra, plus cystitis, and my uro at the time hadn't a clue. Now to fix it, they want
