Help Needed with my Levo Dose
I was diagnosed as hypothyroid at the end of last year. My GP started me on 50mcg levothyroxine. She increased this to 75mcg in March, then to 100mcg (at my request) in July. I've now been on that dose for 7 weeks and just took a private test (following the standard protocol) with MMH so that I know

Hi, I have experienced this for a few days and have been to Doctors. They said its involuntary nerve misfire. Low in vitamin D can cause it! Hope that helps.

Help with test results please
Hi. Need help with my latest results please. Thank you. Not on thyroid meds. Was on 25mg Levothyroxine, but was taken off them because GP only tested TSH and thought it was okay. I had stopped them for 5 weeks at least before taking this test. I supplement Heme Iron. What baffles me, as a side note,

RLS, PTH and PD
I found Arty-fact's post on hyperparathyroidism enlightening, as I'd never heard of a connection between HPT and PD. Looking for studies on the subject, I was surprised to learn of a possible connection with restless leg syndrome too, and thought those with this affliction might want to read this paper

Hypothyroidism vs Blood Pressure
Hi Community. Would anyone have any thoughts: since I have had my Thyroid removed 1 year ago and am taking Levothyroxine, it seems my blood pressure is creeping up. Would this be an indicator of incorrect dosages, or type of hormone replacement. Getting to see an endocrinologist is difficult since I

first labs back-what do you think?
Usually only tsh measured on nhs for last 18 years and one antib test that confirmed Hashimotos at the very beginning. Thought about time to get a full set done (attached above). Would like to ask what you would do with these? Vit d looks low side, considering I’m just back from summer holiday 7 days

New and desperately seeking advice and support
Hello, This is my first post, I’m hoping to get some support, advice and knowledge to help me understand what is going on in my body. Please bear with me as I give some background - I have been seen for the past couple of years by endocrinologists after a pituitary macroadenoma was incidentally found

Hi again, I recently managed to get some more blood tests done including some vitamins as recommended by the amazing people on here. In my previous tests, my high antibody counts suggested that I have Hashimotos, my TSH this time round is 2.41. I don't take any medication yet. My cholesterol is high,

Medichecks Optimal Health Blood Test
Just received my results back from Medichecks. £199 plus £35 to go to a clinic to get the blood drawn so not cheap. I received 4 pages of results and a Doctors report so very comprehensive. I had not taken any supplements especially B12 for a few weeks as instructed by Medichecks. TSH 3.2, B12 150

Can I have some advice as to what I should do. Even though my energy levels seem ok, I have been feeling anxious, brain fog, suffering from palpitations and starting to feel low mood too. I wasn't going to get these bloods done until October but then decided I would - regardless of the cost - as I

Probiotics
Hi lovely people, Do you recommend taking probiotics and if so which brands? Doing research it seems the best would be ones containing Lactobacillus gasseri, is that correct? I'm currently taking daily supplements of folic acid, vitamin D, iron and Co-enzyme Q10. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
