Atril Fibrilation
I don’t usually get any problems, couple of months I started mild Af ,now coming more often and wondering if blood thinners can be the problem or vitamin D spray? I should not be taking it it has an additive which I avoid but too expensive to t hrow away.

Advice on latest bloods please
I want to increase T4 by 25mcg, based on symptoms and previous history of feeling great at 100mcg. As I take T3 my TSH is obviously suppressed and I really thought that I'd got the doc on side. However, the lab report has warnings all over the TSH result, and the doc wants to talk to me! [i]TSH result

Mast cell activation syndrome is there a link?
Hubby has always had serious allergic reactions from a child and had to have steroid injections in summer as a teen. Is it related? This week the dog has come down with a lump that has tested positive for mast cell tumour. My son also has chronic hayfever and panic attack and anxiety. what is happening

I am female, aged 71 and a UK resident.Early in 2023 I experienced significant and prolonged upper back pain, followed a few weeks later by similar lower back pain. X-rays revealed fractures at L1 and L4. After waiting some time, a DEXA scan showed 'severe' osteoporosis. I am now on an annual programme

Hi, in May I had been prescribed 20mg of T3 (and not advised to start low) so after 2 weeks I was naturally feeling horrendous with such a high starting dose and my T4 was still very low (52% through range). Thus on advice from the amazing guys on this forum, I stopped the T3 altogether and have been

Get worse before better?
I have read lots of posts about reversing out, but just wanted to have a moan. I seem to have a different symptom each couple of days, and always worse than I had before diagnosis. One minute I’m completely exhausted, and the next I’ve got chronic nerve pain, then sweating following small exertions.

latest blood results…grateful for any thoughts/advice
**** I have posted screen-shots of recent results from Aug 2024 in the comments. Bit of a cock-up with timings - so it was a non-fasting, blood test taken about 7 hours after I’d had my levo (87.5mcg, been on that dose since April 2024. I’m also on HRT Evorel Sequi patches 50) - doesn’t seem to have

Advice on labs, high RT3, high SBHG, low T
This is my first real post on this forum. I'd appreciate if experienced members could take a look at my labs and history and let me know what they think. I'm a 46-year-old male from Canada but living in France for the past 10 years. I've had deteriorating health issues for close to 5 years (likely longer

PMR, steroids and osteopenia.
Firstly thank you to everyone who has replied to my latest post, what an amazing community you all are! It really helps to know I am not alone, so many questions about PMR and steroids, so much to learn. I now feel that if I get the chance to talk to a doctor I can at least hold my own to some extent
