Itchy, burning skin and mouth, swollen lip!
Hi! Does anyone get these crazy symptoms? My skin feels like sun burn and my mouth is burning and tingly and my lower lip is slightly swollen with little bumps on the inside of the lip. The back of my throat also feels itchy! I've taken anti histamine, but it has made no difference!Help!

Not really a question but a late report back on alternative treatment for dry mouth
Before Christmas, in answer to someone's question (think it was danacetz (don't think I've spelled that correctly, sorry) I said that I'd been advised to try Thayers dry mouth lozenges as an alternative to Glandosane etc. They are sugar free, diabetic safe, contain no preservatives or animal products

Do all Behcets sufferers mouth ulcers leave scars?
Hi I'm new and trying to get a diagnosis after suffering many painful symptoms for years. I attended the Liverpool Behcets clinic and was told its not Behcets as my mouth ulcers haven't left scars. Do all Behcets sufferers mouth ulcers leave scars? Is there anybody who doesn't have scars from mouth ulcers

I was diagnosed with Lupus in March 2012.... Mouth ulcers seem to be a problem.
I also gave up smoking 3 months ago and I now seem to be getting more mouth ulcers and salivating alot more, my gums also seem to be bleeding more too! is this to do with the lupus or not smoking? I really need more information on Lupus, not even the rheumatologist seems to be able to answer my questions

Does anyone else have a persistent sore mouth that they think is associated with reflux?
Having developed reflux since my gastroscopy, I am plagued with a sore mouth - red tongue and roof of mouth. Lansoprazole and omeprazole have both made this worse, so I feel I can't medicate for the reflux. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

So what is a Neutropenic Diet? Why should we follow it post treatment?
For people with severely compromised immune systems, food can be a source of infection when pathogens can enter the body, multiply and cause opportunistic infections. These infections are much more serious for people who have lower-than-normal neutrophil counts, such as people receiving treatment for

Is there anyone who'se had a stem cell transplant prepared to help me?
I'm due to have a stem cell transplant very soon as part of a clinical trial. I've got lots of technical info but I'd like to talk informally about the procedure & living with immuno-suppresents afterwards. Any takers? Talking to a doctor over a cup of tea might help but they're not willing to do so
