All without success! However, I am very pleased to report

Living with AF?
Hello all! This seems like a great forum! All new to me and at 57 am recovering from a cerebellum stroke and waiting to see cardiologist at end of September. I just wonder how everyone ‘lives’ with prescribed AF? Do you exercise or relax? Do you monitor heartbeat and respond accordingly? A little unclear

Will my dad be okay?
Hi all - I’m writing because I’m really worried about my dad (62 yrs). He’s been having some pain between his shoulder blades while exercising for a few months now. He went in to see his cardiologist last week, and came back with a calcium score of 2200 and an appointment for an angioplasty + at least

Is somatostatin an anticancer drug?
My husband was operated in 1996, 2000 and 2003 for a thymoma, and had two times RT after the first and the second treatment. The control CT were ok until 2020, he had only very small encapsulated nodules. But then he's got a prostate cancer in 2018. In 2018, November, he was operated for a Gleason 9

I posted recently about a large study where higher FT4, but no other tests such as TSH and FT3, had an influence on atrial fibrillation likelihood. We've now had a paper on the same lines and with basically the same conclusion accepted by Frontiers in Thyroid Endocrinology:

The Magic Pill
A bit of background. Heart attack in April, stent fitted. TC 7.2, HDL 1.0, TG 1.3. I've refused statins and in 3 months I've dropped 2 stone, but I'm still a little overweight. TC 6.1, LDL 4.5, HDL 1.1, TG 1.1. I moved to a mediteranean diet which basically involved cutting out the bad stuff, because

Hi All, New on this subject. I’ve been suffering on off chest tightness, worse slightly left, sweating and swollen eyelids, ankles and toes. Newly diagnosed and seeking help
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with an under active thyroid. Initially my GP diagnosed angina but the cardiologist disagreed and suggested thyroid problems were the cause of my symptoms of extreme fatigue and breathlessness. My cholesterol had also gone from normal to very high prompting prescription
