Left hand and arm pins and needles and goes to sleep ?
I used to get pins and needles in hands and arms but been SI B12 for over three years once every 2 weeks and went away and only used to happen after the 2 week period in week 3 when symptoms used to start to return. Now I get it quite often and wondering is it B12 related or is it to do with something

New Boy on the Block
I was recently started on statins and an ACE inhibitor as my numbers were not good (BP, cholesterol, UBA1C and BMI). So far so good as despite what I have read no side effects. Will start improving diet tomorrow as three meats family roast tonight - kids and grandkids coming over! How do others find

PMG/Thyroid - Steroids
Two years ago I decided to have the shingles injection as having my twin grandchildren I didn't want to worry if they ever got chicken pox, etc. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with PMG did I investigate whether the shingles jab could have caused my PMG which developed a few months after the injection

Dear friends of Thyroid UK Can I please once again ask for advice. My last up date was about discharging myself from the endocrinologist, I was wasting his time & mine as he wouldn’t prescribe my T3 which I continue self source. He explained he couldn’t prescribe the T3 but could up my Levo to 125

Almonds, aspirin and statins - "Apolipoprotein B underlies the causal relationship of circulating blood lipids with coronary heart disease"

Flawed cholesterol study makes headlines
"A controversial study has argued that if you have a high LDL (bad) cholesterol level when you are aged over 60, you will live longer, there is no increased risk of cardiovascular disease and that statins will have little effect. But can we trust these bold claims?" >> My personal lived experience

Australian saturated fat & cholesterol documentary (both parts)
A two-part documentary, The Heart of the Matter, which pulled in a huge audience of almost 1.5 million people per episode, reporter Maryanne Demasi suggested that high cholesterol does NOT cause heart disease and most people are wasting their time taking cholesterol-reducing drugs called statins. Statins, neuromuscular degenerative disease and an amyotrophic lateral sclerosis-like syndrome: an analysis of individual case safety report
CONCLUSION: We emphasise the rarity of this possible association, and also the need for further study to establish whether a causal relationship exists. We do advocate that trial discontinuation of a statin should be considered in patients with serious neuromuscular disease such as the ALS-like syndrome
