Missed tablets
Last night, for the first time in a year or so I missed taking my Lodotra (4mg). This morning I am in no pain. Could this possibly mean my adrenals are perhaps working after all? Having aggressive OA I have often wondered if the pain I have daily is mostly OA and not PMR.

Lupron or orchiectomy
For economic reasons I am contemplating orchiectomy. I say “contemplating” because, the idea occurred some time ago and I haven’t yet done it. My next orchiectomy “window “ comes up at month’s end when my 3 month Lupron is scheduled. My wife had pretty much talked me into another postponement,

Oxford vaccine stimulates broad antibody and T cell functions.
Today, researchers from the University of Oxford have published further data from the Phase I/II clinical trials of the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 coronavirus vaccine, evidencing the decision to move to a two-dose regimen in ongoing phase III trials, and how ChAdOx1 nCov-19 is induces broad antibody and T cell

Macular degeneration
I have been receiving injection in my eye since September 2019, for what I thought was a gramuloma in the macula.. I asked the nurse today what I have a she said macular degeneration. The eye dr never mentioned this to me, she just kept telling me injection were for fluid or odema ... I am worried

Israeli experts show that some already widely used drugs help fight COVID-19.
I stumbled across this while searching for vaccine safety information for my wife- she has both LUPUS and antiphosopholipid syndrome. Looks like statins, Pepcid, Anti-cholesterol fibrates, and even Viagra can help tamp it down. I'm on 3 of them plus Vit D & C. Time to make a reservation at my favorite

Since sept I struggled with on and off constipation and bleeding ( occ spots of blood). I managed to ease this with diet and after Ointment the bleeding stopped. Bloods normal and FIT test and Calprotectin test normal. Oddly two weeks ago I started having mushy stools, mainly in morning and stomach discomfort

Finding a Personalized Approach To Treating Chronic Rejection After Lung Transplantation.
Two new papers examine the processes of lung scarring and chronic rejection of the organ after transplantation, and potential therapies to stop the graft, or transplanted organ and its tissue, from failing. “Chronic graft failure due to progressive scarring is the number one worry of all transplant

Update on my 5 mos old red retriever named Ryland
Ry has given our family such joy after getting diagnosed aPCA in Jan during covid pandemic. This is was the best time to finally get a family dog. She has been great, keeps me active, alive and focused. Got up off the mat as I am now recovering well from a 4.3 cm benign meningioma of the left frontal

Anti-coagulant (Rivaroxaban)
I have always been OK with taking anti-coagulants, until Saturday that is. A few years ago I had what I thought was an ear infection. Turned out to be MRSA. Since then I have regular 3 monthly check up`s and ear suctioning as I have something called cholestoma. (Excuse spelling). Saturday I went to the

Clingy
I feel as though i expect too much from my friends and tend to treat them more like items and not individuals , they’re people with their own issues and their own identities and desires , I’ve come to realize that i may not be great with platonic relationships, internally i get clingy and irrational

What should I expect if they have to do a trach on my husband?
My husband has been on a ventilator for 7 days due to Covid. He was able to reach a PEEP of 5 and FIO2 of 40% with his O2 saturation remaining in the 90's. The doctor said he is strong and his lungs even seem to be fairly strong. They started weaning him from the sedation (Fentanyl and Versed) two

Instant Dropout by a Recent PTSD (PTSD)
I can't take it anymore. These colleagues triggered me eventhough I just warned them. I didn't expect them to react in such ways. Lecturers also gave 10 marks questions with 2 days submissions due in the midst of 4 projects. These pressures just added more tensions in my mind to step out of degree. My

Lost In PTSD
The 3rd child who was neglected. Quiet and independent. Brought up strict then thrown into the world without any life skills. Second marriage from he'll. Ex military screaming in my face 8 hours a day. Finally broke me. Left that monster. Started the journey of PTSD. That was 2008. I've worked out
