Mental Abuse/Anxiety/PTSD Diary
Hello, I'm a freshman here and you can call me Michael, my great interests/talents are talking all sorts of philosophy and learning multimedia skills, I have a mentally abusive family which unexpectedly gives me social anxiety and PTSD, and I'm not proud to declare it, I don't have a stable friend circle

My short term partner doesn’t remember me after waking up from a 6 week coma
I was in a 4 month relationship with someone before they went into a 6 week medically induced coma following a TBI. Unfortunately only the next of kin are allowed to visit the patient. The NOK asked if they remembered me and they don’t remember me, or certainly not my name. I don’t know what to do, how

Chest Pain
Hi, my mum has recently been admitted to hospital with chest pain and shortness of breath, they thought she may be having a heart attack but having further test her arteries are all clear and they have put it down to either stress or her fibromyalgia saying this can cause chest pain, is this a common

Dosulepin
I am still taking Dosulepin primarily to help me sleep. Normal sleeping pills were of no help whatsoever. I was just awake all night feeling drugged. My GP tried to change Dosulepin to Trazadone, but this caused me to experience intense anxiety and panic attacks, so I’m back on Dosulepin. Anyone know

Living with PTSD
I served in Vietnam in 1966 and 1967. I was medically discharged in 1968 for medical problems related to being shot. When I returned home I had a hard time adjusting to being back in society. I had flashbacks and nightmares. In 1988 I went back to Vietnam as a tourist. I thought I would go one time and

The "C" word
Now we are in December it is time for the "C" word - Christmas! Since my injury 8 years ago, the whilst many of my feeling and emotions have returned, any joy for Christmas seems absent. It used to be a huge event lights on the outside of the house, decorations in every room - even the bathroom!

My dads severe pain with a Tracheostomy.. he is a covid patient, anyone else experienced this??
My dad has been in ICU with covid for 32 days and came out of his coma 7 days ago. He is still paralysed and obviously can’t talk because of the tracheostomy but he is completely fully aware of his surroundings, understands absolutely everything that is asked of him. We managed to understand that

Should I stop taking Apixaban?
I'm being a right ditherer today, in fact I have been all week. Now that I no longer have atrial fibrillation, should I give up on the anticoagulant? I was continuing with it because it had kept my migraine at bay for two years now. (That's apart form a period after my ablation). However, I knew that

Meet new people that are like me!
Does anyone here suffer from bad anxiety and PTSD ? I do and I am slowly overcoming the negative side of it. I think I will with time and was looking to find similar people to me that could share their experiences and get on with. sometimes it seems as if it’s just you out there going through it but

Stomach ulcer?
Has anyone else here developed a stomach ulcer after taking warfarin or any other anticoagulant long term? I have a suspected ulcer, and I'm wondering how it can heal while still taking warfarin, which it seems can be a cause of ulcers.
