Sore hands
Hi, I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this problem. My fingers and toes are giving me alot of trouble. They feel very hot to touch and hurt, it's like the blood inside pumping into those areas is burning. The rest of my hand can be normal temperature but those particular areas are very

Good morning, I’m new here. I’m wondering if anyone else have ever dealt with PTSD and if so How did you handle the out bursts? Nothing seems to work.

Stomach ulcer?
Has anyone else here developed a stomach ulcer after taking warfarin or any other anticoagulant long term? I have a suspected ulcer, and I'm wondering how it can heal while still taking warfarin, which it seems can be a cause of ulcers.

Meet new people that are like me!
Does anyone here suffer from bad anxiety and PTSD ? I do and I am slowly overcoming the negative side of it. I think I will with time and was looking to find similar people to me that could share their experiences and get on with. sometimes it seems as if it’s just you out there going through it but

So happy I found this place! It is a treasure trove of information. I am an 83-year-old woman from California with macular degeneration. It has been very slowly progressing for about 10 years, but recently one eye progressed to the wet form. I have had two Avastin injections and am due for a third next

Stopping taking aspirin prior to elective c section at 36/37 weeks
So yesterday I saw my consultant and we discussed my birth plan. I wished to have natural birth until my due date, and have elective CS if haven’t started labour by my due date. So a date has already been booked for this. Am having CS because of a previous one I had with my daughter. About a month ago

Will I ever be off pred with GCA?
Quick question. I have been told by my rheumatologist , that I will be on Actemra and 5mg pred for the rest of my life. I visited an eye doc for some problems with my eyes, and he was very surprised to find out I was still on prednisone after 2 years of my diagnosis. I know things are different over

Fatty tissue necrosis and oil granuloma after subcutaneous injections of vitamin B12
Some while back there was discussion about research into using some sort of oil base for B12 injections so as to effectively form a depot. Seems that there is a report of someone using an oil injection - though next to no further information. Would appear to be something to be very cautious about.

Swelling in legs and inflamed veins
Hi all, Well I’m now through augmentation and completely off pramepexole and it’s been quite a journey. I’m seeing if anyone out there has suffered with swollen lower legs and feet after coming off pramepexole. I’ve also got phlebitis and my legs look horrible with purple/blue veins popping up. I’d
