Amlodipine and Flecainide
I have been prescribed by GP to take Amlodipine for high blood pressure whilst taking Fleacainide for AF. I have read this can be dangerous, is this the case?

A positive A&E experience
There has been so much comment about bad hospital experiences that I thought I should report a good one. Last night, just as the death of the Queen was announced, my husband was taken ill with acute abdominal pain. I phoned 999, got a quick reply and a sympathetic response and an ambulance crew arrived

Is the end in sight?
I have fought stage 4 metastatic hormone resistant prostate cancer for 6 years so as to make sure I don't get where I am at now. sitting in a chair looking out the window unable to do anything, wondering if my end date is close. Two weeks ago, my abdomen became distended and very painful. The diagnosis

Danger of radiation to others while receiving Pluvicto
I received my first dose of Pluvicto on 8/31. Upon discharge I was advised to quarantine for 3 days and to sleep in a separate bedroom and use a separate bathroom for those 3 days. I was told to drink a lot of water so as to wash out the radioactive material injected into me. I also got a baseline

I’m a nurse and the nhs is pretty strict on sick leave! I saw my gp again today and I guess I was hoping for a referral or a definite

I'm new to this group. I have PTSD and I can not get past it. I suffer from a lot of rage, anxiety, depression, etc.
I would love to talk with anyone or everyone just for some support as I don't know how to deal with a lot of my feelings. Please feel free to message me, I am willing to talk.

Warfarin help
I have just been for my INR check with nurse. It has gone up to 3.4 and has worried me. I have never had this happen before. I am being monitored and, after a reduction in medication, have to go back in a fortnight for another test. Is this dangerous? The nurse would not say, except that it is

Not really sure what to put for a title
I'm new here and just trying to figure out how to cope with PTSD and anxiety. Its been almost a year with the PTSD and a few months since the anxiety diagnoses. Both of them overlap with each other so I probably could've had the anxiety longer and just didn't know it until I was diagnosed a few months

Big pharma never rest. A sad tale of corporate greed run amok.

OCT scan at opticians and brain clot
Recently someone complained about being charged £10 for an OCT scan at a well known opticians. It was certainly worth the money for me. The optometrist noticed changes from my previous annual scan, some swelling of the nerves and a slight bleed. She advised me to go to A&E to have it checked out.

I payed out 600 pounds for flights and accommodation but had to cancel due to the above. I am feeling so much better than before as I was in a mess physically

Partner with Alzheimers
My partner has Alzheimer’s Disease. Last winter he was feeling very uncomfortable living alone so I invited him to live with me which he did and he was very grateful. But he began to have what I believe were panic attacks as a result of a new living situation, being separated from his beloved cats

omeprazole with aspirin
So I had hip surgery last week, this time last week as it happens, and was discharged with aspirin for dvt prevention, and Omeprazole to protect from that obvs. My question is, as I have low stomach acid anyway, could I afford to drop the Omeprazole? I’m not a fan of any of these “counter” medications
