Missed tablets

Last night, for the first time in a year or so I missed taking my Lodotra (4mg). This morning I am in no pain. Could this possibly mean my adrenals are perhaps working after all? Having aggressive OA I have often wondered if the pain I have daily is mostly OA and not PMR.

I would still take my missed dose. It’s maybe a good sign that you are on the road to recovery though. I think I experienced this in the early days of PMR but my hope was ill-founded, I began to get symptoms later in the day. Are you planning to taper this winter or will you wait for the spring?

Morning Constance

As Jane says it’s a good sign but l’d still be inclined to take the missed dose as it may catch up with you later in the day.

It could be time to start to consider a very slow taper, I’m not familiar with Lodotra so unsure what doses the tablets come in but l think that’s what PMRpro takes.

Best Wishes

You are only a few hours into no tablets, you effectively don't take it until 2am, it's only 9am! Constance - PLEASE don't make me say it! Take it, albeit rather late.

Ummm! Thought I was being over optimistic. Still - better safe than sorry. Will take them immediately.

Thanks!
