Borderline Tumor
Hello, I found a lump in my tummy in July, my CA125 was 80. After scans I was told, mid August, that I have a borderline tumor and will have a hysterectomy, removal of fallopian tubes, omentum & possibly appendix. I am still waiting for this op, I feel it has been a long time to wait. Should I be pushing

Mixed news!
Good morning everyone. Following the emergency removal of my ovarian tumour and then my full hysterectomy, the biopsies showed some pre-cancerous cells in the cervix. Waited 4 months for a CT scan, the results are no evidence of disease from tumour, or cervix area, and lung embolism appears to have

Hypo Dr lowered dose!
Hi everyone, My Dr. lowered my prescription from 150mcg to 125mcg on the basis of a TSH result of 0.01. Test done as advised on here. No T4 or T3 was done. No discussion about symptoms . In fact it was done without any discussion. I’ve had to wait a month to have an appointment with my Dr. Was not

My daughter is going to be put on this drug for uterine fibroids and potential endometriosis for a period of 7 months and then we'll have surgery for hysterectomy. She is very concerned about the side effects of this medication and I'm wondering if anyone on here has had experience using this medication

Waiting for a Hysterectomy
Hello everyone, I am writing to ask for any advice/support or similar situations. I am 39, F, live in Scotland UK Have been having problems since May 2021 - heavy menstrual bleeding and pain, hadn't had any issues or bleeding for 20+ years on the mini-Pill Degestrel, so it came as a bit of a shock

Hi all, I am 10 weeks post full hysterectomy. I feel I am doing well physically and have followed all advice. However, on Saturday some familiar pain started and I am now in bed with a severe flare up. I don't know where to turn or if this is normal?! Since my op I haven't really spent days in bed, I've

Not exactly PMR but advice please about post menopausal dryness.
Since I was diagnosed with PMR in 2017 I have had frequent episodes of cystitis requiring antibiotic treatment. These seemed to be made worse by the Calcium and vitamin supplement I was prescribed so I stopped taking it. But I still suffer episodes of UTI/ cystitis about once a year and now my GP has

How long did you wait for a hysterectomy for Adenomyosis?
I'm desperate to have a hysterectomy and am seeing the consultant in 2 months. I'd be interested to know how long people have had to wait. My rough guess is 2 years 😢Thank you 💕

KNEE SURGERY
Hello all, just had a call from my Hospital informing me that my total knee replacement surgery is in 2 WEEKSAs I have Lymphoedema in both legs - left leg is worse. Surgery is on right knee. I have been told the leg will be tightly dressed from ankle to groin to try and avoid me having an ulcerated leg

Endo back after hysterectomy
I had hysterectomy in March 2020 leaving my ovaries in. I've recently had an ultrasound due to pain and bloating that has indicated that my endo is back around my ovaries. Gynaecologist has suggested taking my ovaries since I am now nearly 48. Has anyone else had this experience?

Hormones vs hysterectomy
I am 43 and facing the next (hopefully last) stage in endometriosis life. I have had two laparoscopic surgeries and a successful few years on the mirena coil. After an unbearable few months it has been recommended that we induce early menopause to manage. The big question is Hormones vs hysterectomy.
