Total hysterectomy

I was diagnosed with Endo last year and had a total hysterectomy in November 2023, everything removed. I’m on estrogen only hrt. last Thursday I had a bit of red blood and since then pelvic pain. Can Endo come back?

Any advice appreciated Laparoscopic Total Hysterectomy with stage 4 Endo excision 5 weeks ago, was wondering if anyone had tried with good results supportive underwear or clothing to help that "heavy, dragging" feeling in your tummy?!

since having a total hysterectomy in 2019 for very early stage cancer which cured it I have developed nagging pain near the perineum which at times feels as if I’ve been kicked in that area. I also developed urge incontinence and changes to bowel function.

I had a total hysterectomy in 2010. I am a female 62 no health issues I was aware of before the PMR. Due to the PMR I started in June taking Adcal-D3 750mg/200unit caplets x 2 twice a day. These are the results good -fair -bad? I am a female 62 no issues.

Hi I’ve had a total hysterectomy about 5 years ago. Still have ongoing pains but have told because I’ve had the hysterectomy it’s no longer a gynae issue. I line in Northern Ireland and we have no endo specialist here. I’ve had bi lateral sciatic like pain and ongoing pelvic pain for about a year.

I had total Hysterectomy in March and now I have been prescribed by my Consultant: Evorel patch 25 (twice a week) all month and Utrogestan 100 mg taking only for 2 weeks and after stop it for 2 weeks. Are you taking Utrogestan with a break like this?

Had a total hysterectomy and weekly carbo/taxol on ICON8. Now I’m 77 and exactly 10 years NED with no recurrences, (but two hernia ops and lots of mesh, incontinence, neuropathy in my feet and curly grey hair. However, all are better than the alternative!)

I am going in for a total hysterectomy on the 25th They suspect a Granulosa Cell Tumour due the presence of a mass on my ovary and thickened womb lining However my CA-125 is in the ‘normal’ range, I am just curious if others received a DX with normal CA-125?

I had a total hysterectomy almost a year ago after Ovarian and Endometrial cancer. I had been taking HRT for six months but had to immediately come off it and now of course have no hormones at all to speak of. I feel bereft, anxious, utterly exhausted all of the time and brain fogged.

Hi wondered what side effects with niropirad as am being offereredjust out hospital after total hysterectomy omentom removed and shock stoma was given mopup chemo that put me in hospital just don't feel ready for more treatments as last year in out of hospital no normal life been told they removed

Post total hysterectomy, etc., one cycle of carboplatin (couldn't tolerate paclitaxel) and now on Avastin i/v and Olaparib. CA 9, which is fantastic. Side effects are just destroying me. I am 80, the Olaparib goes through to mid June 2026 and the Avastin finishes at the end of this year.

Good Evening all hope you are well I am having a total hysterectomy on Tuesday 12th March Suffer from endometriosis and I had fluid in my cervix that the consultant hadn't seen before.

I was diagnosed in May 2020 after total hysterectomy bue due to bladder injury in surgery was unable to start chemotherapy due to risk of sepsis. I had 1st reoccurance in sept 2021 and finished carbo/taxol in jan 2022.

I had total hysterectomy in 2021 out my cervix and uterus taken out . The two ovaries were left because it was stuck to bladder and would cause more complications since bladder specialist wasn’t in the room .

I am 6 months post op a total hysterectomy following 3 years of severe pelvic pain. I have always had heavy and painful periods.I had Adenomyosis and fibroids. Following the op I was blissfully pain-free for 8 weeks.

hi all I’ve just had an appointment with my consultant and looking for some advice..I’m 42 with severe endo and he’s advised a total hysterectomy with hrt.. but he’s advised me the wait will be another yr 😞 AGAIN!

I've had my initial consultation and she explained to me she would rather not do a total hysterectomy if she could avoid it!

I’ve decided to have a preventative total hysterectomy with salpingo-oopherectomy (one ovary is already gone with my OC tumor - I’m one year NED so far). I also have endometriosis too, so I’m hoping this helps stop that pain too. My procedure, together with a hernia repair, is in 3 weeks.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago stage 4 high serious ovarian part bowel removed and 6 sessions chemo lived normal 18months then recurrence and more chemo then total hysterectomy omentom removed and shock when I woke I had stoma that is pernament finding it hard deal with and see consultant next week
