Advice welcomed pls.
I’ve had all the classic signs of low b12 for about 18 months had 6 different drs involved and none really paid close enough attention to my symptoms which I think is typical of b12 deficiency diagnosis. Anyway I had privet and nhs blood work done , My b12 came back low at 35.1 pmol/L I was wondering

RLS and it’s woes
Hi everyone. As a RLS sufferer for years I have tried magnesium iron supplements. Acupuncture mats Gabapenten and for the lack of sleep Clonazepam. My mainstay is ropinirole now up to 2mgs per day which makes my vision blurred and augmentation. Ropinirole is failing. I find the symptoms are timely

Partially Self-medicating?
Had GP telephone apptment recently. AWFUL. Initially asked about recent Iron Panel test result. He said it was fine. I asked about the Transferrin Stn result of 59% as note below the result saying consider haemochromatosis if over 50%. He dismissed that completely - saying it looked absolutely

Questions I asked my consultant - Are the answers red flags?
Hi everyone, I have my first Laparoscopy coming up on the 15th October and after reading a lot on here and elsewhere, I felt I hadn't actually been told a lot about the procedure by my consultant. So today I sent a list of questions over to the consultants PA (and explained I was aware so much is dependant

Hashimoto’s and raised liver enzymes. Anyone know anything about it or have themselves raised enzymes?
GGT and ALT are sometimes too high, sometimes they’re normal. Three scans have shown they’re are no liver abnormalities. No enlargement or fattiness but something is obviously wrong because it’s accompanied by tenderness in the liver region upon waking. As soon as I either intake a few sharp breaths

So the doc did some bloods....
Hi all. You may or may not recall I had some bloods carried out privately. The doctor wasn’t keen on them so order these. Luckily my endo accepted blue horizons tests and upped my levo to 100mg anyway. That was two weeks ago however I have waited on adding any vits etc until I got these back. Haven’

Yet More surgery
I have surgery booked for the 12th, they are going I. To see if they have left an ovary behind instead of removing everything a few years ago like they should have. But It also could be a remnant of an ovary regenerated and causing cysts to grow , has anyone had this done? Also I was told I’d be home
