Help with blood test interpretation for my daughter
Hello Everyone, I'm new here and asking for my 18 year old daughter. I've come over from the Thyroid UK forum at their suggestion. She's been quite unwell for about 3-4 years slowly getting worse. We've been stuck with unhelpful medics both private and NHS who have not got anywhere with her symptoms

Low UIBC result from bloodwork?
Hi, All. I had bloodwork done recently and I'm wondering if anyone knows if the low UIBC might be affecting my RLS/PLMD. Ferritin was 169 (down from very high values after a blood infusion for rls in April 2021). The UIBC was flagged as Low at 126, Iron Saturation was flagged as high: Iron 172 UIBC

Ovarian Remnant Syndrome
(There is a similar scenario when retained deep endo is present in the vault after a
total
hysterectomy
and continues to progress, especially in those who had uterosacral ligament endo, but that is a separate discussion).

Still struggling
Hi, I'm new to this, not sure how much to share, I have spent the last 27 years knowing that I would not have children of my own due to a hysterectomy at 22. I am still struggling with this, more than I want to admit. I work with children and have done for along time, but it is not the same. Surely it

My daughter's Iron panel results
Hello, Could I have help please with these results for my daughter? What does the overall pattern seem to suggest?
Iron
-good and no need to supplement?
TIBC and UIBC
are a bit alarming, but that may be because I don't understand the implications.
Transferrin

So many questions ??
I am 71 years old, weigh 8 stone, generally fit and healthy. I have probably had RLS for many years causing the occasional sleepless night or restless evening in the chair. I had my first prolonged nighttime episode last November which lasted a few nights. Nothing since except tingling in my left leg

Night spasms
I had bowel cancer in May last year and had a hemi-colectomy that was straight forward and needed no further treatment. Nine weeks after that operation I was told that they had found another cancer on the bowel they removed. This turned out to be Low grade serous ovarian cancer. I had a Radical hysterectomy
