New here :-) Please forgive the waffly introduction!
If the results confirm the presence of anti-bodies &, therefore, the diagnosis of autoimmune
thyroiditis
, I would find that very interesting, personally.

My thyroid was fluctuating severely, predominantly overactive with Graves Disease, but interspersed with Hashi
thyroiditis
and under active spells. My Colitis was a lot less symptomatic during overactive thyroid times.

Positive Antibody result from Blue Horizon- what do I do next? (Results and ranges included)
The positive thyroid antibody result, however, increases the possibility of your having autoimmune thyroid disease, such as Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
or Grave's disease."

Worried newbie
Hi all, I'm 34, I have hashimotos
thyroiditis
, have had 'atypical migraines ' for years and recently developed terrible pain and swelling in my knuckles and wrists. Three days ago I developed a painful swelling in my left temple and couldn't open my mouth properly.

Help newly diagnosed and feel so sick! 😢
I keep getting
thyroiditis
but my Endo can't do anything as I'm on all the drugs he can prescribe and after starting on T3 in January my levels are now optimal. I'm on hydroxy but I know it takes time to work. But I don't think I can continue feeling so ill.

Has anyone been feeling better on low dose naltrexone? I've had Hashimotos for a decade and have tried everything.
The autoimmune
thyroiditis
. I finally got on dessicated thyroid and do feel better although that is not correcting my autoimmune disease as I still have antibodies. After my body finishes attacking my thyroid it can be triggered to attack other organs such as my liver etc.

Hashimoto's thyroiditis
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
two years ago. I also have thyroid nodules. I have a pain in the right hand side of my neck and feel exhausted. I had my blood tested last week. I have low blood pressure and a low heart rate. Was wondering if this could be connected.

Persistent low folate results. Should I be on folic acid tablets or can I eat my way to normal range
She is coeliac and I am hashimotos
thyroiditis
. She will be joining this site. As I have told her how amazing it is for getting me right treatment. Basically she has had low folate results for two years or more. Tested about 3 times. She eats broccoli, sprouts etc. Not anaemic or low b12.

Hyperthyroid symptoms, blood test help after Hashimotos Encephalopathy.
Long, long, long story but my Mum was diagnosed with Hashimotos Encelopathy (also known as Steroid responsive Encelopathy with associated
thyroiditis
or autoantibodies to thyroid tissue/SREAT) last April after a hellish time.

Thyroid nodule
She ordered the antibody tests and confirmed me as as Hashimotos or Chronic
Thyroiditis
. My question for the forum is this: can I hope to reduce the size of the nodule and reverse the condition at all?

Just diagnosed Lupus today
I have also suffered with Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
diagnosed a year ago. Although it's been difficult getting my thyroid under control I now worried about how Lupus and the medication might affect me in the future? They're running more tests and put me on Hydroxychloroquine today.
