No idea where to start!
Thinking of joining a gym, but worried about wasting money and not using it - perhaps
swimming
. Need to eat better and sort out my diet, but usually just can’t be bothered and eat quick when hungry.

Exercise and AF: from Patients Day 2018
Walking,
swimming
, 'Park Run' (you can walk!), Tai Chi, Pilates, Yoga were all mentioned. General advice: Do something everyday. Start gently and increase the intensity over time. Do it regularly.

It's back.
Just 2 months ago we were chatting it up in the
swimming
pool at the “Y” and me marveling that someone with such a deadly cancer could look so good, and healthy, and alive!

Week 8, mini hiatus due exhaustion after brighton triathalon on Sunday....Not sure if I want to continue with running ! For awhile anyway
But I've recently started enjoying
swimming
in the sea after a move to the coast, and thought why not? So I started the C25K, after a sucessful visit to a sports therapist who sorted my back out. Whilst cross training with
swimming
, cycling and some core strength exercise.

Hi, Has anyone found
swimming
relieves their pain? I have heard one or two people suggest it and I have heard of aqua therapy. I am an active person in theory but often end up too unwell. I am moving soon and there’s a leisure centre close by so I hope to make it a weekly thing.

Is it Benign Prostate Hyperplasia(BPH)?
I am 44 and is much into martial arts,
swimming
, gym etc. I try to eat very healthy. I am separated and live all by myself(living alone sometimes get lonely and stressful). Getting very very scared how tough impending old age will be(losing confidence over my body/health lately).

Half Marathon Plan: Customising your plan 💥
I want to get a lot of cross-training in, particularly
swimming
as I'll be doing another triathlon in September next year.
I'm actually really excited about this plan!!

Long way to go
I’m currently weighing in at 100kg 😭 I have MS and balance and mobility issues, so need to do seated exercises or
swimming
. I’ve put on 15 kilos since being diagnosed 3 years ago. I’m going to make 10 kg my first goal and imagine it will be a slow process.

Impacted bowel, been on medicine on and off over 8 years
Fed up with taking medicine and feeling rubbish, sore throat, headaches, feeling sick, irritable, people taking the mick at school, rushing to the loo in pain and sitting there for 30 mins with no outcome, watery overflow, accidents, missing school and
swimming
, looking pale and drained.

Weight loss and fitness
I've been running 3x a week and
swimming
about a mile at a relaxed pace 3x a week since May - finished C25k in July and just finished the Bridge to 10k. During this time I've eaten reasonably sensibly, but not with any organisation or club.

Serious about controlling food i eat.
I have been also active with exercise for a year on and off, lane
swimming
mainly twice a week. As it's easy on your bones and joints. I have chronic knee pain and am an asthmatic.

Newbie - halfway through C25k today!
I started C25K that morning and have, much to my own surprise, been keeping it up ever since, as well as going to gym classes and
swimming
occasionally. Ran W5 R2 first thing this morning and am genuinely enjoying it.

First 5k+ Run - Well, I didn’t expect that!
So I had to drop my son’s
swimming
stuff off with him at lunchtime, and thought I’d include it in my run. On Wednesdays he sits with his friends in the park so he was easy to find. It gave me a different start to my route.

Hot tubs/ steam rooms for RA? or not?
I grew up in sunny Dorset and always love going somewhere warm for sun to relax muscles, but also love
swimming
in cool pools to reduce hot joints / inflammation. Chilly night here in N.I led to leccy blanket but was stiffer than recently , the nxt morning.

A Fabulous PR, fitness and form mantra
Yesterday I increased the
swimming
intensity and started a Speedo 6 week fitness programme. It’s human nature to sit on one’s laurels, and I was enjoying
swimming
1600m easily with a HR around 130 and in a state of semi-meditation. Couldn’t carry on like that.
