Hi, I'm new. 40-year-old woman, 2 stone overweight (was 2.5st a month ago, so...), never been a runner and always struggled with motivation to exercise. I don't quite know what happened but I woke up one morning last month and it was as if the motivation lightbulb had instantaneously switched on. I started C25K that morning and have, much to my own surprise, been keeping it up ever since, as well as going to gym classes and swimming occasionally. Ran W5 R2 first thing this morning and am genuinely enjoying it. Slightly nervous about keeping it up once I've finished W9 given that I usually run early in the mornings and I'm due to graduate just before the clocks go back. But going well so far!
