Hi,

Has anyone found swimming relieves their pain? I have heard one or two people suggest it and I have heard of aqua therapy.

I am an active person in theory but often end up too unwell. I am moving soon and there’s a leisure centre close by so I hope to make it a weekly thing.

Hi Ash,

I hope your move goes well and your health improves. I too used to be really active and found due to endo symptoms I had to adapt my exercise choices. Still really miss running 🏃‍♀️.

Swimming has really helped me a lot , I did try some aqua aerobics it was really a lot harder that I expected !! I recently I have been trying out swimming in the sea, I m not a very good swimmer but it’s very uplifting.

My physio(NHS) gave me some water based exercises, she has been amazing I would recommend women with endo obtaining referral to a women’s health physiotherapist .

Have a good day 🤩
