He got osteoporosis himself by overtraining (i.e. doing Ironmans which requires a huge amount of training in running,
swimming
, and biking; there is a local doctor here who also got osteoporosis at a young age by doing Ironmans).

In need of Reassurance
His GP then “prescribed”
swimming
for him to try and strengthen his lungs further. Since Monday, he’s been having episodes of bradycardia again, feeling feverish, sweating excessively and feeling faint.

First Post. Uniquie Symptoms?
The second was when
swimming
I would get what I thought was swimmers ear. I was told I did not have swimmers ear and that was the extent of it. By accident thinking it was swimmers ear I found I could control it with hydrogen peroxide drops. I got so bad It would happen on a rainy day.

An unexpected trip to the IC
He was really keen for me to carry on walking and
swimming
, and when I’m able to get back to strength work. He was super keen on Pilates. No runs for a couple of weeks but after that, if all goes well I can start building up slowly.

More strength training needed!!
I had arranged a run with a couple of our group for Saturday morning before realising that we had promised the little ones we would go
swimming
that morning too. Luckily the others then suggested we did it early as they also had things to do that day.

He advised
swimming
and exercise. I have now joined a weekly Pilates classs run by a very experienced Physio and Pilates teacher who I have seen one to one for a few appointments and has told me to just join in as much as I feel able as she is aware of my problems.

Learning to validate myself
It’s like
swimming
in a vast ocean of “what ifs” knowing that the answer is somewhere in the water with me, but my body is the compass and the compass is giving teasing hints but never pointing in the right direction. This journey has left me exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Heat and humidity in swimming pools
Does anyone know if the heat and humidity of a public
swimming
pool can affect Afib and heart rate - I mean just as a spectator, not hurtling down the tubes !

high blood pressure and breathlessness
I tried to go back
swimming
but had to get out after 10 very slow legs as my heart rate had shot up. Spoke to my GP who’s ordered blood tests but they don’t seem to be concerned about my breathlessness so should I? Any advice would be gratefully received :)

The Raising of RSDs Ugly Head
B4 going
swimming
I see the 2 texts and just replied to "where are you" ... "
Swimming
. No seat. Got a call and just left." The one replied Oh OK. The other replied with an extra chair pix. You wouldn't know this but it's a crowded area with 1 very sick lady and 1 103 yo.

Exercise at the bottom of the scale.
Swimming
, yoga class, anything that involves getting there first. And back. Don’t ignore that bit.

Magic plan week 3 run 1 x NRC “A New Run”
Having arrived at the pool sans
swimming
costume (oops) I thought it was best to do my recovery activity in the coffee shop instead. So here’s yesterday’s run report… The plan at the moment is to build back to 10k using the magic plan in time for an event in June.

Week 1 run 1....but I've been here before
In that time I kept up some running until 3 years ago since when I've done some Pilates, some
swimming
and then nothing from June 2021 until September 2022 when I went back to Pilates. It felt right to get back to the programme after a very challenging year. This mornings run was amazing!!

Habituation doesn’t happen for everyone
Even when
swimming
, on the tube in a busy place, there it is! I try to remain positive - I’m a very passionate, upbeat person but there’s no denying it’s affected the quality of my life hugely. I remain hopefully but think T has stolen that deep sense of well-being.
