Heartbeat keeps skipping a beat
I did cold water
swimming
in November and that seemed to aggrevate it more. I tried to capture it on the heart rate app built into my phone (see picture) you can see there's a long drawn out beat. Instead of a series of regular beats.

Any thoughts on ideas for rebuilding muscle with PMR. Collagen? Particular exercise regimes??
I have had to give up
swimming
but still walk and work on the allotment as well as housework. I just wondered if anyone had any ideas on particular exercises they have found helpful or branded supplements.

PMR - High Altitude - My trip to Bolivia
I did little walking before I went, although I was
swimming
as much as possible to try and build my stamina. I can’t say that I didn’t get tired and perhaps a little grumpy, at times, but I think chubbiness and asthma were bigger handicaps than the PMR, helped by 6mg pred.

Exercise: Regular exercise, such as
swimming

swimming the English channel
I am 56 years old four weeks post open-heart surgery to replace my aortic valve and I would like to swim the English Channel. I know this can't be done tomorrow as I have to recover first and do a lot of training but has anybody got any advice about how to achieve this goal.

How I keep my tinnitus at a manageable baseline
Plastic from bottled water can leach into the water and is also non-distilled except nestle smart water but is in plastic and has agents added which are mentioned next · Chlorine (chloride) (
swimming
pools, municipal water, bottled water), fluoride (toothpaste, municipal water, bottled water), salt

Feeling Wobbly
I have suffered with Vertigo for many years, but lately have been experiencing an unsteadiness in my head without the room
swimming
(which is my normal experience with vertigo). It is not there all the time, but I am aware of feeling more unsteady. I cannot really explain it to be honest.

Vacation time?
Muscle loss is noticable and has caused some issues when I try some of my old
swimming
/bodysurfing routines. (I'm 77) . Reason for all this is that I'm considering a drug vacation to build some strength back. My MO is a bit reluctant but less so recently.

CT scan booked - worried
Since this discovery, I have lost 20 pound, my recent HBA1C is avg 55, blood pressure is avg 120/75 and I am
swimming
/walking twice a week without any problems. BUT they are very insistent that I must have coronary problems and are saying I MUST have a CT with contrast.

New to this...
The pandemic and then this injury impacted my gym going and yoga practice, but those have also been important, as have
swimming
and rowing. My doctor referred me to a rheumatologist who I will see in early April.

raised blood pressure and NDT- what to do?
I take moderate exercise and make sure I move my body for an hour a day be that walking,
swimming
or a bike ride. I have moderate alcohol intake. The only thing that has changed that could have increased my blood pressure is being prescribed NDT.

A long slow run with Joanie Samuelson
There were ducks and coots
swimming
along the water, a little egret on the waters edge and a swan sitting on a nest, watched over by her mate. Sadly, lots of plastic waste on the waters edge there too.

Hi - I had a wonderful afternoon on the beach dipping in and out of warm sea water (first time for 20 years or so!!). Now I’m wondering about joining a Leisure club or Spa to keep up the good work but what’s the view about picking up bugs or Covid ? I’m dithering …
