waiting for surgery

hi all not been on here for same time, I've started my new role at work due to my redeployment because of my AF/heart failure condition. It's been 15 months now still waiting for my operation to replace my aortic and valve. I've seen my cardiac consultant who asked me if I had my operation yet,of course I have not which I thought was a little non reassuring as you would think she would have been more informed. Will still waiting but being discharged from heart nurse time as I'm stable and will be monitored via the app on my phone. Which I do my own stats and put on the app. so doing ok just waiting for op so will be more safe after☺️

I think you are doing so well going to work while you are waiting for your op and your post reflects you are coping really well to :-)

I hope after waiting so long they give you a date soon and when they do let us know and let us know how you get on :-) x

Good to hear that you're doing well with health & job too! Interesting about the app, I've not heard of that before. I really hope you get your date asap & you can get on with a happy, healthy life x

I found waiting was the worst. Also redeployed while waiting and that was tricky too. Hopefully you won’t wait much longer. For me, the recovery in the main was less stressful than the waiting!
