Moving Forward
So, went to see my consultant on Monday as really been struggling recently. My wrists have been a massive problem and are now restricting me at work. Have been sent to occupational health who are now restricting what kind of work I am allowed to do. Anyway, have finally agreed to take methotrexate

This 74 year not happy no running
Not a happy bunny today, physio said no running, I have done more harm by going out after dislocating my shoulder eight weeks ago. She said it could take up to 3 months so back to walking while hubby runs off .I asked if a foam roller would help and she no, I was all set to buy one today in Sports Direct

Hi everyone I am a newbie here - please be gentle. I would like to know if anyone on this site takes Methotrexate and if so please could they help me by telling me what they think about it. I was diagnosed in April of this year after ignoring symptoms for roughly 2 1/2 years. I kept putting off going

Still No Relief From Steroid Injection
Posted earlier this week feeling like I'd been kicked by a horse after a steroid injection a week ago, and nothings changed. Painful hands which woke me very early this morning, I've got shoulder pain and pain in my jaw which is new, feeling pretty awful. I am very disappointed as in the past I have

Sorry for the quietness
Hi everyone, hope you all are doing good and pain free (well we live in hope). I have been pretty rough over the last couple of months so not been posting. Just having a catch up this morning before I start a busy day. I have had to come off of hydroxy as it really upset my IBS and made my skin itch

KICKED by a HORSE then run over by a BUS !!
Well it feels like it any way. The big boy steroid injection was last Thursday on a visit to my rhuemy nurse. She entered all my results etc onto the data base then informed me I had failed on Humira - no one told me it was an exam! Is it my fault? No I think Humira has failed me! I am now being set

Weird weight loss???
Hi everyone, well as most may remember I saw my rheumy last Thursday who prescribed me mtx for the first time to start in a few weeks after my holiday and gave me a steroid injection to keep me going. Well of all the side effects I was expecting from the steroids, weight loss definitely wasn't one of

If its not one thing it's another!
As my fellow sufferers know, I had my first cycle of rituximab I April this year after failing on humira and enbrel. I went for my 12 week assessment however was still in a lot of pain so was given yet another steroid injection to see me through. Anyway I've suffered with a stiff neck for a few years
