Hi I haven't been on for a while, the only way I am now is because I am wearing my wrist splints. I am in pain everyday all day at the moment, I have had a steroid injection, and have just started on Azathioprine, I have also asked my boss to reduce my working hours by 6 aweek, she said no, I have RA

Don't know where to turn next
Feeling really awful every couple of days, and just awful in between. Dizzy , pains in my arms and legs, headache , tinnitus, fatigue, thrumming body sensation. Sometimes think I am going down with a cold, sore throat and blocked nose then it comes to nothing. I have an appointment with a rheumatologist

Knee inflammation and bursitis - could there be any connection with hypothyroidism?
I was recently found to have subclinical hypothyroidism, I have elevated anti-TPo antibodies, TSH 5.24 (0.3-4.2). I don't have too many overt symptoms at the moment apart from some GI/stomach issues and a bit of fatigue. One thing that has been bothering me over the last 18 months is one of my knees

PMR GCA all in Doc Martin series last night
Watching a repeated series of Doc Martin last night on ITV 9.00pm. I'd seen the episode when it first came out, but PMR & GCA meant nothing to me then. They obviously researched the issue and gave a really good airing to the symptoms. Though I'm not sure his cousin ever got the Steroid injection. Also

An update on my condition
I was diagnosed with PMR when I became ill on a cruise in April. My pointers for inflamation were high and I was put on 20mg of Prednislone. The pains went away but I had such a bad reaction to the steroids that my GP took me down after a week to 15. Most people told me it was too much of a drop and

Hi guys, hope you're all well. I'm 34 & was diagnosed with RA when I was 22, mainly affected by my right toes & both knees. I had an X Ray on both knees & it's just bone on bone now. They won't give me knee replacements until the disease calms down, as I've been told it's pretty high. I've recently been
