Ankle injections
Hi everyone, Just a quick question, I had steroid injections in my ankles a week and a half ago and my ankles are still really sore, if I walk on them for more then a couple of minutes I get really wobbly and still need my walking stick. How long should this last for?

Just at the start of trying to take control of my thyroid issues.
Hello, Reading posts on here I obviously know nothings compared to lots of you! I've had an under active thyroid for about 9 years and take 175 levothyroxine, my doc put me down to 150 for 2 years despite me raising a number of times that I feel permanently unreasonably tired shortly after this change

Ouch! Steroid injection in my shoulder
Just thought I'd post this as others have questioned joint, shoulder, collarbone/clavicle pain, weakness & tingling in their arm being connected to hypothyroidism. I've been hypo for about 14 years & just discovered I have Hashi's, & a vit D deficiency. I've had pain in my left collarbone & shoulder

The Joy of Steroid Injections....and another new consultant
Hi All, I have not posted for a while as have been 'proper poorly' following my fall. I had an appointment with my Rheumatology Dept recently, to see my consultant...yet again I saw someone different, with a different take and a different attitude. This lady, just read notes and referred me back

Steroid injection
Hi just wondering if anyone has had a intramuscular steroid injection and have found it to work almost immediately, I had my first Rheumy appt yesterday and she gave the steroid injection in my right leg, that area feels very bruised, but the impact it has had on my body is amazing, my swelling has gone

Injections?
Hi - last time I was at the GP he spoke about possibly trying a steroid injection (I can't remember what he did it was called). I've been on oral steroids fairly constantly for about a couple of months now and have had to restart every time I've stopped. If anyone has any thoughts on steroid injections

Rheumatology appt today.
I had my rheumatology appt today and was pleasantly surprised how lovely she was considering my last one a few years ago, she was kind, empathic probably to do with the fact I burst into tears (eeeeekkk) and just so thorough, she did the test with the eyes with strips though gritty eyes there was enough

GOLD INJECTIONS????
Good morning everyone. I'm experiencing some difficulties with my steroid meds. I'm only on 7.5 Prednisolone and I'm sounding off walls, my eyes pop open at 6.00 every morning and I could eat for Ireland my appetite is so vigorous. I have to say though that I am almost completely pain free, my wee bungalow

Relief after steroid injection - does this mean anything?
Hello All: I have been suffering from morning stiffness, pain in my hips, neck, shoulders, wrists and hands. Plus sensitive left temple, brief left temple headaches and jaw pain while chewing (which has now stopped.) I got a steroid injection on 04/05 and it has made a HUGE difference to the morning

Disappointed
Good morning everyone, I have had RA for about 14mths & take Methotrexate & Sulfasalazine. It has of course, been a 'roller coaster' but since the Methotrexate was increased to 20mg in February, I have had times when I've felt almost 'normal' with attacks of pain, stiffness occurring around 7-9 days

I need Advice on taking steroids after a steroid injection please.
I had two steroid injections in my knees yesterday, they already feel wonderful. When I awoke after sleeping all night I realised my normal aches and pains weren't there. I also realised as I tried to focus on the clock my eyes were slightly out of focus, even when I put my glasses on. They have improved
