~Rampant tendinitis & scaley looking skin anyone?~
Hi team of helpful supporters: - in looking over some of my old threads I note my complaint of tendon and ligament issues. Swollen ankles, mainly the R which has been problematic since I rolled it January 2016 and again Oct 2016. Recent x-ray has ruled out arthritis but confirmed split/ tear of peroneus

Need a better way of controlling my weight...
Hello I am a new participant. I am 80 years of age and an insulin dependent diabetic. I have been following a lo carb diet for the past year. It does help my blood sugar control but I find it is a very restrictive and expensive diet and I find myself getting more and more bored .' Following on to

Steroid Hip Injections - Medical Update
My arthritis medication remains the same, Hydroxychloroquine 400 mg daily. However the pain in my hips has increased and I've had to take stronger pain-killers. I'm now on Tramadol 100 mg x 4, with 1000 mg Paracetamol x 4, along with the other medications I take. Wow, I can't believe how I've deteriorated

Why is it we are not listened to
I see many threads saying they have pain but are often dismissed by their health professionals. I currently on the titrate trial since April. I feel I'm no further forward than I was in March. I feel it was suggested I try this trial because they didn't know what to do with me. My DAS score in March

Facet joint inflammation and spine damage. Pain management questions.
Hi all, I'm new to this group. I'm 27 and last year I had an intraspinal abscess in my lower back. I spent a long time on a hospital ward with strong treatment. The abscess is gone, but it has left permanent scaring on my lower spine lumbers, lots of inflammation of my facet joints and chronic pain

I'm scared... after multiple rounds of steroid injections my doctor is scheduling me for surgery.
I burst out crying in the doctor's office. So glad hubby was with me. It'll take a week or two to be approved by insurance, but it looks like we're forging ahead with Anterior Cervical Neck Fusion Surgery. Probably a result of a combination of OA and RA. The nurse suggested I refrain from over researching
