Steroid injection?

Been seen by my lovely rheumy today and have had a steroid injection in my butt for inflammatory arthritis, I've got to have another next week, anyone else had 2? Also how long does it take to work? Also should I expect any side effects?XxXx

Hi Hun, iv never had injections , I take it it was prednisolone, iv had tablets not too bad side effects just light headedness, and a bit of a sore tum, dno how many times iv been docs with a water inf I haven't got lol..hopefully this will be the start of you feeling better..my rheumy is called dr.kuttikatt lol..I always think he should be a vet..all good news Hun, u will feel so much better when that inflammation comes down..well done you..xxx

I love that name!!!! Mine is called Dr Clewes and he is sooooo nice! Makes it all a little easier then being nice doesn't it!! Thankyou so much Hun! I do hope so! Xxx
