A story of hope for those suffering recurrent implantation failure
I was prescribed
steroids
and intralipids to address the raised NK cell count. Our first FET failed which was a massive blow.

Reducing steroids after illness
I should know this and I have written it down somewhere. When I first had the acute urinary infection I doubled up from 5mgs of Prednisolone to 10 and my CRP was 270, it was 70 last week and I was told to continue doubling until I had finished the antibiotics which I did today. As it is only 12 days

If they would only let me keep an emergency supply of

Just to add, I'm currently on
steroids
to treat a widespread flare up. They have helped everything except my knee. Sorry for the long post. Any advice/experiences welcome xx

A reply to Wasabigirl’s post about PID (?) which has since been deleted
Over the years they tried
steroids
, painkillers, gaslighting me, but the only thing that has ever made a difference is antibiotics. Now I’m doing very well on long term antibiotics. Just be aware of the muscles of the lower pelvis.

Fatigue has reached a whole other level, after 10.5 years. Scared it’s narcolepsy….
We went abroad for a week last week and I have taken a little short course of
steroids
to help cope.

Potentially Heading Flarewards
My anxiety goes through the roof at higher doses and as I am pre-diabetic (thanks to
steroids
and despite having a no-carb/sugar diet) aware that this could potentially tip me towards Diabetes.

continued pain
my wife is now on a heavy dose of morphine ,also
steroids
and zapains etc. All-still does not deal with the pain.I just don’t think we have got there, just yet-in terms of medications. Everyone is trying. I know that there are various trials in other Countries.

Felt like Giving Up - Update
After a complaint to PALS I had a call from my Consultant and was prescribed some oral
steroids
which have helped but I need to increase the dose for a short while as not doing quite enough, still not able to drive etc.

Sweet Syndrome With Vasculitis
Steroids
continue to be the mainstay of treatment, and a good response to
steroids
continues to be a part of the diagnostic criteria, although newer treatments have been used and proved effective.

Had anyone tried LDN?
My rheumatologist wants me to start taking
steroids
and then other immune suppressants further down the road. I have many different symptoms, but my worst one has got to be chronic fatigue. Lately, my tendon/bone inflammation has come a close second, making me struggle with everyday tasks.

Steroids

chemical pregnancy after FET
Steroids
, intralipids? My clinic are not the most helpful and I had to really push for lubion or we would have had just cyclogest like the two previous failed transfers.

Suboptimal Cortisol levels following Synacthen test
I already have Oesteopenia from
steroids
and being treated…and have ADHD and bipolar so manage that as well but been so hard these last few months. With test results sort of explains much.

Criteria to treat CLL
I'm on the
steroids
as I get horrendous pains that suddenly stop me walking without extreme pain. As regards bloods, white cells 8.6, lymphocytes 4.8. So nothing much. Platelets 222. The blood issue is my liver.

update on subacute thyroiditis
I was eventually given a course of
steroids
as my ESR was stubbornly high (40mg prednisone) which was tapered off and B blockers to manage thyrotoxic symptoms. The
steroids
worked like magic and I’m now feeling so much better. I also started B complex vitamins and iron supplements.
