First fibroscan good second way different?
As I’ve posted I escalated my situation to a liver transplant hospital in Los Angeles called Cedar Siani. This is supposed to be one of the best hospitals in California and took care of a friend of mine who ended up with cirrhosis through genetics. At cedar Siani the Hepatologist PA did my fibroscan

Stem cell transplant anniversary
It is now exactly 12 months almost to the minute since I watched the bag of stem cells slowly drain into the Hickman line. It's been a very eventful 12 months to say the least. Since my last post 9 months ago I had a difficult end to 2019. I was hospitalised for pneumonia in October which turned out

My husband had a

transplant
in January after being diagnosed with all last year. His counts are all good so far, he feels well in himself. I've recently had to return to work, so back out in the world again, sort of. So the question is, Why cant I feel happy?!

Dear All, I'm sitting in my Favourite Chair, with the window 'slightly' open.... Listening to the Wind And Rain😁. It's such a 'Change' from ALL that Sun..... I have to be so careful, you see. Not only have I ANCA Vasculitis, but also have had a Kidney Transplant, so I have to use a Factor Fifty Plus

I have one in a fortnight. What can I expect and what shouldn’t I forget to ask? Any advice, gratefully received.

Double Lung Transplant
My uncle got a double lung transplant September 11, 2020. He is currently in ICU. He had to have 2 emergency surgeries due to one of the lungs not working properly. He was put on an ECMO machine and ventilator. 2 days later they put him on dyalisis. I've been visiting him daily. It's so hard to see him

Meet the Liver Transplant Team
Hi, we have just got back from a face to face at Queens Medical Centre. They agree that Kevin needs a transplant and they are going to do everything they can to that end. However the cardio gram that was done isn’t any good so they are arranging and MRI as they need to know that his heart is strong
